2024 NFL Cheat Sheet: Green Bay Packers Stats & Odds
2024 Green Bay Packers Stats Project 9.5 Wins

The Green Bay Packers finished strong in 2023, going 9-8 and making the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.
With another year of experience under Jordan Love’s belt, the Packers hope to ride that momentum to even bigger things over the next several months.
Some have already pegged the Packers as a NFL Super Bowl dark horse. At the very least, they’re talented enough to challenge Detroit atop the NFC North and get back to the playoffs.
What should bettors expect? Here’s the projected 2024 Green Bay Packers stats.

It’s Love’s Show Now
Wonder no more about Jordan Love. Long considered the heir apparent to Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, the former first-rounder looked the part in his first full season as a starter.
- Love threw for more than 4,100 yards and 32 touchdowns, leading the Packers to a postseason victory. As a reward, they signed him to the richest quarterback contract ($220 million, including $75 million guaranteed) in NFL history.
All-Pro return man Keisean Nixon recently labeled them a Super Bowl contender, which would be cause for concern if it weren’t true. The primary reason for that is Love, who seems poised to ascend to the upper echelon of NFL quarterbacks.
Surrounded by an emerging receiving core and bell-cow back in Josh Jacobs, the 25-year-old Love could be in the conversation for MVP.
- As it is, oddsmakers have installed him as a +1400 contender, the fifth-best odds behind fellow quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, C.J. Stroud, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.
The Packers went 9-8 and upset Dallas in the playoffs before losing to San Francisco in the divisional round. They averaged 22.5 points (12th in the NFL) but surpassed 30 points in three of their last five games.
It’s not unreasonable to think, with another year of experience under his belt, Love can help the Packers challenge Detroit atop the NFC North and lead them on another playoff run.
- Oddsmakers seem to be buying the hype, as the Packers are -155 to make the playoffs and have the ninth-best Super Bowl odds (+1900) of any team.
At this point, anything less than another wild card berth should be considered a bitter disappointment for Matt LaFleur and Co.
Here’s a closer look at the projected 2024 Green Bay Packers stats.
Super Bowl Odds: Franchise Quarterback is First Step to Contend
Is Love the real deal? If so, there’s no reason why the Packers can’t get back to the playoffs and win a Super Bowl.
The best recipe for sustained success is an elite offense, and the Packers seem to have the franchise quarterback they need to take the next step.
Love was the most productive NFL player at his position from Week 11 on last season, leading the NFL in QBR and combined touchdowns.
In two playoff games, he completed over 67% of his attempts for 466 yards and five NFL scores. His passer rating: 108.6.
- Kansas City is still the favorite (+500), with the likes of San Francisco (+600) and Baltimore (+1000) right behind the two-time defending Super Bowl champions.
But the Packers are at least in the conversation, which is all anybody can really ask for at this point in the summer.
With 19/1 Super Bowl betting odds, the Packers offer good value.
17. Washington Commanders
The Commanders are an underrated team. They’ve found a franchise quarterback, as Jayden Daniels will have some talented weapons at his disposal. They’ve upgraded their offensive line, aside from left tackle. And they’ve made some big upgrades to their… pic.twitter.com/4XQcKakHeX

Conference Odds: NFC Possibly Up for Grabs
The Packers lit up Dallas in the wild card round before giving No. 1 seed San Francisco a scare. Sure, they fell short of their goal, it served as a forewarning to the rest of the NFC about their capabilities.
The 49ers have reached the NFC title game in four of the last five years and are healthy favorites to win the conference (+250) once more, but Green Bay isn’t far off.
In fact, five NFL teams have 8/1 odds or better, making the race for a spot in the Super Bowl highly entertaining.
Division Odds: Detroit Slight Favorites
The Lions are generating a healthy amount of buzz — and rightfully so — after their breakthrough season, which concluded with a trip to the NFC championship game.
While they’re +135 favorites to defend their NFC North title, there’s not much separating them from Green Bay (+225) or even Chicago (+275) in the NFL power rankings.
Love can wind up being the difference, especially if he performs at an MVP level.
Chicago’s Week 18 visit to Lambeau Field figures to be compelling theater.
Regular Season Wins: Double Digits Not a Stretch
Green Bay has gone Over its win total in four of the last five seasons. The lone exception came in 2022, Rodgers’ final season in Green Bay, when they were projected to win 11 games but finished 8-9 to miss the NFL playoffs.
This is a high bar to clear, but the Packers get the benefit of a relatively soft NFL schedule (ranked 11th easiest by Pro Football Network).
Games against Minnesota and Chicago over the final two weeks could determine whether or not the Packers beat expectations and win the division.
With stability at head coach and quarterback, it’s not a stretch to suggest the Packers can reach double-digit wins. They won 13 games three straight seasons from 2019-21, albeit with Rodgers under center.
Times have changed, but Love looks ready to lead Green Bay back to contention on an annual basis.
To Make Playoffs: Postseason or Bust
On the heels of their strong finish to 2023, anything short of a return to the postseason would be a big disappointment.
The Packers beefed up their roster in free agency, adding Jacobs — the 2022 league rushing champion — and emerging safety Xavier McKinney.
They also beefed up the offensive line in the NFL draft, selecting Arizona tackle Jordan Morgan 25th overall.
They didn’t invest all those resources to spend January at home. Be sure to keep that in mind when assessing the projected 2024 Green Bay Packers stats.
Love for MVP? It’s Possible
Love is already on the short list of contenders for MVP. If last year’s playoffs are any indication, he’ll remain such throughout this season.
- Love threw touchdown passes or more six times, with three of those instances coming over the final four games. The Packers averaged a whopping 32.7 points during that stretch.
There’s a lot to like about his outlook.
