2024 NFL Mock Draft Odds: QBs Reign Supreme
First Three Picks Expected to be Quarterbacks

There isn’t much suspense regarding who will be the No. 1 draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Things are a little more unclear after that. While there are plenty of mock drafts out there to read, you have to give more weight to a sportsbook’s analysis of where a player will be taken than somebody writing a mock draft.
After all, the sportsbook is willing to back its opinion with cash. The 2024 NFL mock draft odds has a few surprises, but not many. By looking at the odds for each of the first 10 NFL picks, you can create a mock draft that will be just as good, if not better, than anything you’ll see leading up to the draft.
1.
Chicago Bears – QB Caleb Williams, USC -10000
There’s little question what the Chicago Bears are going to do here. Justin Fields has already been dealt to Pittsburgh, leaving the door open for the team to select Williams. The Bears were 7-10 last year and 8-8-1 against the NFL spreads, but the offense was lacking at times.
The NFL team stats show only four teams threw for fewer yards than Chicago, so quarterback is a good place to start. The 2024 NFL mock draft odds are Williams being selected first are -10000.
2.
Washington Commanders – QB Jayden Daniels, LSU -145
Daniels is favored to be the second NCAAF player taken in the draft and it makes sense. Washington needs a quarterback and Daniels is a dynamic two-way threat. It’s not set in stone, however, as North Carolina’s Drake Maye is a possibility.
The odds on Maye are just +145 to be taken No. 2. J.J. McCarthy has seen his draft stock rise lately, and is the third choice in betting at +850. No. 2 might be a bit high for McCarthy, but could end up in the top five.
3.
New England Patriots – QB Drake Maye, North Carolina Even
Maye is the even-money favorite to be selected at No. 3. He is more of a traditional quarterback than Daniels, who is the second betting choice at +170. McCarthy is third at +400, followed by Marvin Harrison Jr. at +1700. If any of the top three teams were situated at quarterback, Harrison could be worth a look.
4.
Arizona Cardinals – WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State -200
It’s hard to imagine Arizona doing anything different here, although the possibility is open the team trades Kyler Murray. That will make a receiver a bit less important, but even if the Cardinals trade No. 4, the team who uses it is likely to snag Harrison.
The 2024 NFL mock draft odds on Harrison aren’t the greatest, however, making it a tough play to make.
5.
Los Angeles Chargers – WR Malik Nabors, LSU +200
The 2024 NFL mock draft odds suggest Nabors isn’t a sure thing, especially if the Chargers trade down to a team wanting McCarthy. Nabors is rated a little lower than Harrison, but the two are considered the best two receivers in the draft.
Harrison is the No. 2 choice here at +300, with McCarthy at +400 and tackle Joe Alt at +500.
6.
New York Giants – WR Malik Nabors, LSU +175
In a strange situation, Nabors is the favorite to go at pick No. 6, as well as the favorite at No. 5. Obviously, one of those is going to be wrong and the Giants hope it’s pick No. 5.
Nabors fills a huge need for New York, who will certainly grab him if he’s available. Wide receiver Rome Odunze is the No. 2 betting choice at +380, followed by McCarthy and Alt, both at +550.
7.
Tennessee Titans – OT Joe Alt, Notre Dame -105
The Titans aren’t going to pass on Alt if he’s available. Tennessee’s tackles had the second-worst pass-blocking grade in the league last NCAAF season.
It’s not a glamour pick, but it’s the type of pick that helps you be a better football team. That’s what the Titans need. Tackle Taliese Fuaga is No. 2 at +600, followed by tackle Olu Fashanu and Odunze at +650.
8.
Atlanta Falcons – LB Dallas Turner, Alabama +230
Turner is another favorite going off a decent odds, but it also means the Falcons can go a number of different ways with this pick. The Atlanta defense was pretty average last NFL season, with the Falcons losing by an average NFL score of 18.9-21.9. The team needs help at several positions, but Turner might be too good to pass up here.
Defense ends Laiatu Latu and Jared Verse are No. 2 in the betting odds at +650 each. Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell is No. 4 at +700.
9.
Chicago Bears – WR Rome Odunze, Washington +250
If Odunze falls this far, it makes sense for Chicago to grab him. He automatically gives Williams a solid target and the two are familiar with each other from the Pac 12 Conference. Verse is the No. 2 betting choice at +500, with Turner at +600. Regardless who they take, the Bears will get a second quality player with this pick.
10.
New York Jets – TE Brock Bowers, Georgia +250
The 2024 NFL mock draft odds have Bowers the favorite to go to the Jets at No. 10. He’s the best tight end in the draft. The Jets could also snag any of the others who have fallen a bit, but Bowers does fill a need. The second betting choice is Fuaga, followed by Fashanu. Odunze is No. 4 at +650.
