2024 NFL Props: Tyreek Hill Season Odds

The 9th year receiver has thrived in Miami after six seasons in Kansas City

When you lead the league in receiving as Tyreek Hill did last season after producing his best season with 1799 yards receiving, it figures that Hill will be the favorite in most 2024 props, making it important to jump on these wagers as quickly as possible because you can anticipate the public driving these prices down as the season nears.

The NFL’s top receiver strength to prop bettors is his ability to start healthy, missing just two games since 2020. We’ve combed through three 2024 Tyreek Hill season odds props that the public should get on before the season begins.

Hill +600 To lead The League In Receiving Yards

As we approach the first full week of the preseason, we would say the +600 that many outlets are offering on Tyreek Hill to lead the league in receiving is generous.

There’s nothing about Hill’s production over the last two seasons suggesting that the 30-year wideout is about to slow down. The former Super Bowl champion had his second straight 1,700-yard season and fourth straight over 1,000 yards.

Hill has been a fantasy darling with 13 touchdowns and 112.4 yards per game, both leading the NFL. Hill’s respect isn’t just from oddsmakers but also from his peers this past week when he was named the top player in the league in a player poll.

It was the first time a wide receiver was the top NFL player on the annual Top 100 list. His former Kansas City teammate Patrick Mahomes finished second.

  • Behind Hill is the Dallas Cowboys CeeDee Lamb (+750) and Justin Jefferson (Minnesota) +800, who has fallen behind Lamb in the last few days.

Is This The Year Hill Is MVP?

  • It’s tough to go against a quarterback when it comes to betting on NFL MVP odds, even with Tyreek Hill finishing 6th in voting last season.

At best, the 8-time Pro Bowler is in the conversation, which makes his 100-1 odds of winning the MVP this season something to consider.

The number may be intriguing, but Hill would have to leap over 22 quarterbacks with better NFL odds. Last season, only Lamar Jackson (Baltimore), Dak Prescott (Dallas), Brock Purdy (San Francisco) and Josh Allen (Buffalo) garnered more votes than Hill, so it is possible that Hill can leap over most of the signal callers on the list but if 1,799 yards only earn the sixth amount of votes, we may be asking Hill to break Calvin Johnson’s 1,964 single-season mark to push him closer to the top with voters even though Johnson never won the MVP.

If we’re leaning on Hill to crack the 2,000-yard threshold, then we should throw a few quarters on Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa at 20-1 because they’ll both have to light up NFL scoreboards to get the other into MVP consideration.

Season Over/Under Yardage Number Is A Surprise

With Hill averaging slightly under 1,755 yards receiving over his previous two seasons, an over/under season total of 137.5 seems like an easy wager but not if we look back to his time in Kansas City when they found multiple ways to win, reducing Hill’s production to less than 1,300 yards per season.

In six seasons with the Cheifs, Hill averaged just 1,105 yards. To be fair we should throw out his first season when he started just one game but even if we do we’re left with an average of 1,207 yards.

Then we should consider that Hill is 30 years old, and even though he’s been healthy for most of his career, we know the day is coming when the body will start to break down.

Miami may take a small step back from their 11-win total in 23-24 with oddsmakers setting their season win total at 9.5 (over -122) but head coach Mike McDaniel knows that for the Dolphins to go deep into the postseason they must be more than Hill and Tagovailoa, meaning they’ll go into the season hoping to establish other weapons which have diluted Hill’s numbers in the past but will solidify the Dolphins spot in the NFL playoff picture.

  • We think an under 137.5 wager with an over 9.5 NFL team win total wager is a no-brainer.

That does it for our 2024 Tyreek Hill season odds preview, all the best this NFL season.
