Betting 2024 Amon-Ra St. Brown Season Odds

The Lions' Top Option Will Get Plenty Of Chances To Cash Tickets

The Detroit Lions’Amon-Ra St. Brown finished the 2024 season with a career-high 1,515 yards receiving. The superstar also added another 274 in three playoff games to lead the Lions to within a game of the Super Bowl. As such, the 2024 Amon-Ra St. Brown season odds expect more from him.

St. Brown had a season-high 156 yards with eight receptions in week nine in a 41-38 win at the Los Angeles Chargers.

  • That added to a season total of nine games with over 100 yards receiving and one more in the wild card game against their 24-23 win at the Los Angeles Rams.

Before we get settled into wagering on the weekly NFL betting lines, let’s preview a few 2024 Amon-Ra St. Brown season odds that should be given your attention.

The +1100 To Generous To Pass Up

There are only four receivers ahead of St. Brown on the list of wideouts who could lead the league in total receiving yards.

The Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill is the +650 favorite, followed by CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys (+750), Justin Jefferson (+800) of the Minnesota Vikings, and Ja’Marr Chase (+1000) from the Cincinnati Bengals.

Normally we don’t like to tie up our money in a race that features numerous horses. But this number is worth the risk. St. Brown will have the luxury of having one of the best tight ends in football with Sam LaPorta commanding plenty of attention.

That sets up a pick-your-poison scenario for two NFL players who have stayed healthy in their young careers for an offense that averaged 395 yards in total offense (3rd in the NFL).

Another great season by both of the Lions’ weapons will ensure that Detroit will be back in the NFL 2024 playoff bracket.

Are Books Begging The Public For Over Wagers?

It seems easy, but you know how that goes in gambling. Last year, St. Brown eclipsed the 1,500 mark for the first in his three-year career.

Every season, St.Brown has been able to improve on his numbers from the previous season. He was 88 yards away from three straight 1,000 yards receiving, averaging almost 1,200 yards per season.

  • Oddsmakers have set his 2024 season total at 1,250 yards (-112 each way). The number makes sense considering the public is the only side of the counter that overreacts to what they just saw.

However, most fantasy experts will tell you that the former Mater Dei star is a top-five receiver in the league and a top-10 player overall.

Last season, St. Brown totaled 211.9 points, finishing third among all receivers.

Quarterback Jared Goff should give his top target plenty of chances to duplicate his 2023. He targeted the six-foot, 202-pound receiver 164 times, leading to just under 95 yards receiving per game.

Incredible numbers considering the Lions were fifth in the league with 135.9 rushing yards. How you bet this wager starts with what you think of the Lions.

If Detroit will be just as good this season, we suggest going under this total because Dan Campbell will be searching for other options to complement his receiving duo.

If you think they’ll take a step back we think he’ll go way over the 1,250-yard total. Goff will continue to lean on him in tough spots.

No matter how you view St. Brown or the Lions, his presence must be considered when handicapping your weekly NFL scores and odds sheet.

Uncovering The St. Brown Best Bet

We’re giving up some juice. But the 2024 Amon-Ra St. Brown season odds offer the best chance to cash the over eight touchdown prop at -140.

  • We could have jumped up to 10 or more touchdowns (+185). But with St. Brown totaling 10 last season, we thought that was too risky.

We gave up the 40 cents with St. Brown after finishing in fourth place last season behind Mike Evans (Tampa Bay) and Tyreek Hill (Miami) who finished with 13 each.

This prop offers the most reasonable chance of winning with reasonable juice. All the best with your prop bets this NFL season.
