Kupp Hoping to Regain His Remarkable 2021 Form
The 2024 Cooper Kupp Season Odds Has the Rams Receiver Undervalued

After Two Injury-Shortened Season, Is Kupp Ready to Dominate Again?
Just two years ago, Cooper Kupp had one of the best seasons for a receiver in NFL history. Injuries have slowed him down the last two seasons and that has impacted Cooper Kupp’s 2024 season odds.
Kupp and the Los Angeles Rams are overshadowed by a San Francisco 49ers team fresh off a run to the Super Bowl.
With the top quarterback, leading rusher and the top six receivers back from last year’s playoff team, the Los Angeles Rams have the sixth-shortest odds to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl when looking at the NFL odds today.
We can only speculate how much Kupp will play in the three preseason games for the Los Angeles Rams. The preseason opener is against the Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 11 and it will air on NFL Network. Six days later is a “road” game versus the Los Angeles Chargers with the game being played at Sofi Stadium, which is also the home field for the Rams. The final preseason game comes against the Houston Texans. The Rams are 3.5-point underdogs against the Detroit Lions in the regular-season opener.
When looking at the NFL news and rumors, keep an eye on the updates surrounding Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee as he recovers from a knee injury.

Kupp Has Plenty of Company
Coming into the 2023 season, Kupp appeared ready for another breathtaking season after having 75 catches in nine games in 2022 for the Rams.
Cooper Kupp had 42 catches and three touchdowns in the first four games of the season. With five 100-yard games in the first eight contests, Kupp looked ready for another special season. However, his season ended in mid-November.
Kupp didn’t make his 2023 season debut until Oct. 8 and by then, rookie Puka Nacua was taking the NFL by storm. He had 25 catches in his first two regular-season games. He finished with 105 catches and in the “how quickly they forget” department, Nacua has better odds than Kupp to lead the NFL in receiving yards.
Only Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys, Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, AJ Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles, Amon-Ra St Brown of the Detroit Lions, and Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings have shorter odds to be the NFL leader in receiving yards.
- Nacua has +1200 odds to be the leader in receiving yards with Kupp at +2500 when it comes to the 2024 Cooper Kupp season odds.
Kupp Looking to Return to the Top
Cooper Kupp was smart enough to work out with quarterback Matthew Stafford after a huge trade with the Detroit Lions. Even though Kupp had 94 and 92 catches in the previous two seasons, he was flying under the radar going into the 2021 season.
Kupp went over 100 receiving yards 11 times in 17 games as he finished with 145 catches for 1,947 receiving yards with 16 touchdowns. He fell 17 yards shy of the NFL record for receiving yards in a season set by Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions in 2012. Who was Johnson’s quarterback during that record-breaking season? None other than Stafford. Keep these in mind when looking at the 2024 Cooper Kupp season odds.
What can Stafford and the Rams accomplish with Kupp and Nacua to throw the ball to during the 2024 season? It is fair to question whether this might be the final season for Stafford considering that the 36-year-old Stafford is preparing for his 16th NFL season.

Challenges Coming Early For Kupp and the Rams
The 2024 regular season begins for the Los Angeles Rams on the road against reigning NFC North Division champion Detroit with the NFL odds listing the Rams as the underdog. Week 3 features the first of two meetings with the San Francisco 49ers.
It remains to be seen how many targets Kupp will see this season.
Over the past three seasons, Kupp saw at least 10 targets in a whopping 23 out of 38 regular-season games.
Kupp had a quiet showing in a loss to the Detroit Lions in the 2023 playoffs with 27 yards on five catches.
It was a different story in 2021 when he caught 33 of his 42 targets for 478 yards as the Rams won the Super Bowl.
With Kyren Williams back to give the Rams a dynamic running back and Nacua among the other receivers, the days of Stafford forcing the ball to Kupp might be over.
A Third-Round Pick for the Ages
Six receivers were picked ahead of Kupp in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Corey Davis, the No. 5 overall pick, and the No. 9 pick John Ross are no longer in the NFL.
Kupp, a star out of Eastern Washington, lasted until the 69th overall pick before the Rams made one of the best third-round picks in NFL history.
His 567 catches, 7066 receiving yards, and 51 touchdown catches are the most of any player taken in the 2017 draft. The closest player to Kupp is fellow third-round selection Chris Godwin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
What About the Rams?
- The Rams are priced at +325 to win the NFC West title. The San Francisco 49ers are the clear front-runners at -200 in the NFC West title odds. The Seattle Seahawks (+700 to win the NFC West) hope to close the gap on the Rams. The Arizona Cardinals, who were 0-6 against fellow NFC West teams in 2023, have +1200 odds to win the division title.
- The Rams have +105 odds to make the playoffs and -135 odds to miss the postseason.
- There are -145 odds for the Rams to go over 8.5 wins during the regular season and +115 odds to finish with eight games or less.
