NFL Week 10 Game Odds: Surprising Giants Look to Win Another Close One

Line Moving in Visiting Cleveland Browns Favor as They Head to Miami

Kansas City Expected to Handle Jaguars, Again

Three of the seven teams with the best odds to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl will be among the four early games on Sunday being televised by CBS. The NFL Week 10 Game Odds have the home team favored in each of those games.

The Kansas City Chiefs, second only to Buffalo in the odds to win the AFC title, are expected to top an improved but young Jacksonville team comfortably while the other three games could come down to the wire.
The totals in those games range from 41 for the Texans-Giants showdown to 50.5 for the Jaguars-Chiefs tilt.

Here’s a closer look at the games with some updates on the Week 10 NFL injuries.

Game of the Week

Game Information: Denver Broncos vs Tennessee Titans
Date, & Time:
Location: Nissan Stadium
Moneyline: Broncos +120, Titans -140
Line: Tennessee -2.5

The acquisition of quarterback Russell Wilson was expected to be the missing piece as the Broncos attempted to add an improved offense to one of the best defenses in the NFL.

It hasn’t quite worked out that way as Wilson is one of the lowest rated starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Could this be the week when it all comes together considering that only Pittsburgh and Atlanta allow more passing yards per game than Tennessee? The NFL Week 10 game odds favor the host Titans even with uncertainty at the quarterback position.

Denver’s offensive line took another hit when center Lloyd Cushenberry was placed on injured reserve.
It is uncertain whether Ryan Tannehill will be back after missing the last two games, or if rookie Malik Willis will be at quarterback once again for the Titans. Regardless of how is at QB, the Titans have one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL.

An average of 23 points has been scored in the last three Denver-Tennessee contests. The Broncos and Titans have combined to go under in 13 of 16 games this season.

Other Games

Jacksonville vs Kansas

Game: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Kansas City Chiefs
Date, & Time:
Location: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
Moneyline: Jacksonville +355, Kansas City -470
Line: Kansas City -10

The Jacksonville-Kansas City game has the second-largest line of the Week 10 schedule.

Jacksonville is coming off a win over the Raiders after losing the previous five games by eight points or less. The Jaguars have shown improvement, going from allowing opposing teams completing 69% of their passes to 62% this season. However, facing the top-rated passing offense in the NFL could be rather challenging.

Travis Etienne, who missed all of last season due to injury, has three straight 100-yard games for Jacksonville and is fifth in the NFL in rushing. Expect to see plenty of Eitinne as Jacksonville hopes to keep Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the sidelines by controlling the ball.

The Chiefs are outscoring Jacksonville 89-54 over the last three meetings. The 11 Jacksonville turnovers have made things easy for the Chiefs.

Kansas City is 0-4 against the spread in home games this season while all four of the Jaguars’ road games went over the total so keep that in mind when looking at the NFL Week 10 betting odds.

The total opened at 48.5 and has moved to 50.5.

Browns vs Dolphins

Game: Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins
Date, & Time:
Location: Hard Rock Stadium
Moneyline: Cleveland +163, Miami -190
Line: Miami -3.5

Miami is starting to resemble a playoff contender since the return of injured quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the highest rated starting quarterback in the NFL. The defense should be aided by the acquisition of pass-rushing linebacker Bradley Chubb.

Cleveland is coming off an impressive win against division rival Cincinnati and will look to build on that win. The best chance of that happening would be to take the early lead so quarterback Jacoby Brissett can hand the ball off to Nick Chubb, the second-leading rusher in the NFL, rather than having to make throws down to field to try to keep pace with the Dolphins.

Miami is dealing with plenty of injuries in the secondary so keep an eye on that as kickoff approaches.
The Browns have covered in seven of the last eight games against Miami while the Dolphins have covered in just one of the last six contests.

When looking at the NFL odds, the Browns are 5-2-1 against the total this season and the total in this game is set at 41.

The game opened with the Dolphins favored by 5.5 points and the line is now at 3.5.

Texans vs Giants

Game: Houston Texans vs New York Giants
Date, & Time:
Location: MetLife Stadium
Moneyline: Texans +190, Giants -230
Line: New York Giants -4.5

There are question marks surrounding many of the skill position players on both teams with Houston receivers Nico Collins, Brandin Cooks and Phillip Dorsett as well as running back Dameon Pierce questionable for the game. For the Giants, receiver Kenny Golladay is expected to return, but rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger continues to be sidelined.

The Giants rank 30th and the Texans 27th in yards per passing attempt so don’t expect to see many throws deep down the field in this one.

The Giants have won the last three games against the Texans by an average of 14 points and covered in each of those contests.

The Giants are 6-2 against the spread this season.
