Raiders Feeling Confident After Picking Up First Win of Season, Arrowhead Never Easy

That’s if the Raiders vs Chiefs Betting Odds are anything to go by.
As per the sportsbook, the Raiders are catching 7½ points on the MNF point spread while the total is projected to a lofty 51½ points.
Can the Raiders deliver a massive upset at Arrowhead Stadium in Monday Night Football? Or will the Chiefs extend their incredible dominance over the Raiders as per the Raiders vs Chiefs Betting Odds?

Raiders Fail to Launch
The Raiders made a show of splurging in the offseason to snap up All-pro wide receiver Davante Adams and DE Chandler Jones, among others. The purpose of upgrading the roster was to be more competitive in an AFC West division that was being dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs and, eventually, to make a run for it in the playoffs.
Four weeks into the season, and it’s safe to say that the experiment is yet to bear fruit. The Raiders are 1-3-0 SU and ATS with a 1-point losing margin on average. Until last week, they were in danger of falling into a 0-4 SU sinkhole.
The Raiders are 1-3-0 SU and ATS wth a 1-point losing margin on average.
Their lone victory came last week against a Denver Broncos side that had similar high expectations going into the season, but that underwhelmed spectacularly in the first four weeks, despite boasting a better record than the Raiders at the time.
The Raiders beat the Broncos 32-23 at Allegiant Stadium, coming through for the first time for side bettors as the -2½ home chalk.
Chiefs Rolling
The talk in the preseason surrounded the departure of All-pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill. What was Patrick Mahomes going to do without his prized target?
Four games is a small sample size, but so far so good. The Chiefs don’t appear to be missing Hill at all as they’re leading the division with a solid 3-1 SU record and averaging over 32 points per game (ppg).
They’re coming off one of their best wins to date, a 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium, cashing as the 2½-point road underdogs for NFL picks against the spread.
It marked the second time this season, the Chiefs offense put up more than 40 points – the first time was in Week 1 behind a 44-21 over the Arizona Cardinals.
Raiders vs Chiefs Betting Verdict
It should come as no surprise to anyone that the Chiefs are installed as the firm home favorites in Raiders vs Chiefs Betting Odds markets.Â
It’s not just that the Chiefs are off to another fantastic start on the season. Underpinning this market is a domination over the Raiders that is hard to ignore.
The Chiefs are 7-1 SU against the Raiders in the Mahomes era, which includes three straight wins. Their last date at Arrowhead resulted in a lopsided 48-9 win for the Chiefs.
In fact, three of the four meetings at Arrowhead were lopsided victories for the hosts with the Raiders putting up 3, 9 and 9 points. The only time the Raiders put up more than 9 points, they actually won 40-32 (2022).
Divisional rivalries can be unpredictable and at times they can deliver the upset. However, nothing that the Raiders have done up to this point implies they’re poised to deliver the biggest win of their season or the biggest upset in the league.
The Raiders have struggled to score so far, coming up with just 24 ppg and mostly late in the game. Moreover, the defense, which is leaking at a 25 ppg clip, is working against them right now.
All things being considered, the Chiefs are likely to notch another win against the Raiders. And, it wouldn’t be surprising if it were deja vu all over again with another lopsided victory. We love the Chiefs.
