USFL Week 7 Betting: Stallions Favored Over Breakers in Week’s Top Game
Pittsburgh Slight Favorite in Battle of Pennslyvania

In Week 7 USFL betting action, the USFL ventures out to Birmingham, Alabama, Memphis, Tennessee, and Canton, Ohio. It was more of the same last week, as parity remains the name of the game this season.
There are three teams sitting at 4-2, two teams at 3-3, along with three 2-4 squads. No team has really risen above the others. But no team has entrenched itself as the weak link in the USFL, either.
After a couple of lopsided games Saturday, USFL fans were treated to a pair of 16-10 games on Sunday. With scoring down last week, it’s no surprise to see several totals dip back into the 30s this week.
The sportsbook has had a tendency to react based on the previous week’s results. This week is no exception to the rule.

Birmingham Stallions vs New Orleans Breakers
Day/Time:
Location: Protective Stadium, (Birmingham, Alabama)
Streaming: FOX
The Week 7 USFL betting lines have Birmingham favored by 2 points and a total of 46. Even though the Stallions are playing in Birmingham, they’re considered the road team in this game.
When these teams met in Week 3, New Orleans came away with a 45-31 victory in the USFL scores. Don’t expect as much scoring this time around. Birmingham’s defense will be ready after allowing 483 yards to New Orleans last game.
The final score should have been more lopsided in the Breakers’ favor. New Orleans had a 483-253 and a 13-minute edge in time of possession.
Only two teams in the USFL have allowed fewer points than Birmingham. The defense will be ready to make amends for the previous meeting. Take Birmingham to get the win in this spot.
Philadelphia Stars vs Pittsburgh Maulers
Day/Time:
Location: Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium (Canton, Ohio)
Streaming: FS1
The Philadelphia Stars may have the better record, but the Maulers are favored by 1 in the latest USFL odds. The total in the game is 38.5. Philadelphia came up with a key victory over New Orleans last week to get back to .500.
The Stars gained 7.0 yards per play compared to 4.4 for the Breakers. But Philadelphia couldn’t capitalize offensively for the second straight week, using three field goals and an interception return for its points. The Stars’ lack of offensive TDs isn’t a good thing. Have to believe Pittsburgh is the right side in this one.
Sunday, May 28
Houston Gamblers vs Memphis Showboats
Day/Time:
Location: Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium (Memphis, Tennessee)
Streaming: USA
The two hottest teams in the USFL kick off Sunday’s schedule. Houston has won four straight, while Memphis has won its last three. The Gamblers are favored by 3.5 with a total of 43. Houston began its winning streak with a 30-26 win over Memphis. Houston scored the game-winning touchdown with 18 seconds remaining.
Since that game, the Showboats have been on the right side of the USFL scores in all three games. After dropping three straight to open the season, the Showboats are now 3-3. The spread in the game appears a bit high but is 3.5 for a reason. Take Houston to get the money in this one.
Michigan Panthers vs New Jersey Generals
Day/Time:
Location: Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium (Canton, Ohio)
Streaming: FS1
Week 7 USFL betting ends with the New Jersey Generals favored by 6.5 over Michigan and the total is down to 39. The over/under opened at 42.5 for this game.
The Generals won the first meeting between the two 28-13. New Jersey likes to run the ball and should be able to do so against the Panthers. Michigan isn’t playing well at all, having lost four straight by double-digits.
New Jersey is a bit better than its 2-4 record indicates, as the Generals have dropped a few close ones. New Jersey looks tempting here as a favorite, but the best bet here is probably the under-39.
