In a huge slate of National Hockey League action, having played 11 games, the NHL Thursday night games recap saw plenty of scoring and Over tickets cashing in for bettors. Let’s take a look at last night’s NHL matchups in review.

Washington sets a franchise-record seven consecutive wins on the road as Alex Ovechkin scores his 29th goal of the season and 809th of his career as the Caps win 6-2, cashing the Over 6.5 and covering the puck-line as -200 favorites.
Forward T.J. Oshie scored a pair of goals while Dylan Strome picked up three assists. Goaltender Darcy Kuemper earned his 11th win of the season, making 25 saves on 27 Blue Jacket shots faced. Winger Johnny Gaudreau scored his 11th of the year in one of the two goals for Columbus on the night.
Washington heads home to take on the Nashville Predators tonight, which could be one of the best NHL bets to make tonight as a moderate home favorite around -160 with both forwards Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson set to return to the lineup from injuries within the next week.

The St. Louis Blues picked up a 5-3 win over New Jersey last night as the Devils spoiled a pair of second period goals from forward Jack Hughes, who extends his club lead with 24 tallies this season.
Blues winger Robert Thomas scored two goals and chipped in an assist, while Pavel Buchnevich recorded three assists and Jordan Kyrou returns to the lineup after injury issues and scores his 19th goal of the year as the Blues cruise to victory as +160 underdogs in Newark.
The Blues are now on a 13-1 streak to the Over on the road while New Jersey dropped their eighth straight home game and have now lost 10 of their last 13 games overall.
The Boston Bruins continue to win, notching their seventh victory in the last nine games, beating the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 5-2 as -150 road favorites.

Two goals from both Trent Frederic and David Pastrnak was all the B’s needed as backup netminder Jeremy Swayman made 27 saves on 29 shots for his eighth victory of the year. Forward Phillip Danault scored his 13th goal of the season and Pheonix Copley made 17 saves on 21 shots faced for just his second loss of the season.
The Kings are still 7-3 in their last ten games as they prepare to play the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday in a big Pacific Division clash.

- Superstar forward Connor McDavid chipped in two assists as the Edmonton Oilers beat the New York Islanders 4-2. Goalie Jack Campbell makes 20 saves on 22 shots to earn his ninth win of the season as the Oilers cash in as -150 favorites, covering the puck-line and pushing on the closing total of 6.
- Philadelphia explodes for five goals in the second period as they dismantle the Arizona Coyotes for a 6-2 final. Carter Hart makes 21 saves for his 11th win as the Flyers win their fourth straight game and are currently on a 5-1-1 run to the Over in their last seven contests.
- Forwards Jack Eichel and Paul Cotter both return to the Vegas lineup in a big way as the Golden Knights beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2. Eichel scored his 14th goal of the campaign while adding two assists, and Cotter scored a goal and an assist as backup goaltender Adin Hill makes 38 saves on 40 shots faced for his ninth win of the year. Vegas cashed as a pick’em favorite, with the game flying over the total. Sidney Crosby scored his 20th goal and added an assists for the Penguins, who’ve now lost six games in a row.
