Serie A Matchday 26 Odds: Matches of the Week

Napoli Fall for First Time in Two Months

Lazio Take Down Serie A Leaders

Lazio got their third straight Serie A win as they downed league leaders Napoli 1-0 last Friday. The loss was Napoli’s first since January and they still hold a 15-point lead over second-placed Inter. Napoli have another high-profile match on Saturday vs. Atalanta and will want to bounce back with all three points. Meanwhile, third-placed Lazio will go for four straight at Bologna. We’ll take a look at these matches and other important Serie A Matchday 26 odds.

Matches of the Week

NAPNapoli vs AtalantaATA

Date & Time:

Lazio ended Napoli’s run of 10 matches, in all competitions, with at least two goals. The Biancocelesti shutout the Partenopei, handed Napoli their first home loss of the season and ended Victor Osimhen’s seven-game scoring streak. Napoli still have a large cushion in Serie A and haven’t lost consecutive matches all season. In fact, Serie A betting tips have often recommended picking Napoli after a loss. After losing to Liverpool in the UCL and Inter and Cremonese in January, Napoli won their next matches. Now, they’ll host Atalanta on Saturday in the highest-profile Serie A match of the week.

Napoli come in as ½-goal favorites at -150 ATS and moneyline odds. Napoli have won the last two meetings between the two sides. Victor Osimhen and Elif Elmas goals helped the Partenopei complete a comeback at Atalanta back in November. In fact, this has been quite a high-scoring fixture recently, as the last five meetings have finished with three or more goals. Over 2½ displays -125 odds for Saturday’s second and final meeting of the season.

Atalanta have a handful of players who will either be out for this game or be game-time decisions. Defenders Giorgio Scalvini and Davide Zappacosta and midfielders Teun Koopmeiners and Hans Hateboer could all miss Saturday’s match. Meanwhile, defender Jose Luis Palomino and striker Duvan Zapata are day-to-day. Atalanta come in at +130 odds to cover the spread and +410 odds to win the match. Napoli left-back Mario Rui is suspended and a draw sits at +300 odds.

BOLBologna vs LazioLAZ

Date & Time:

Following their big win vs. Napoli, Lazio lost 2-1 in the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 first leg vs. AZ Alkmaar. Lazio now head on the road to Bologna on Serie A Matchday 26. Bologna dropped Monday’s match to Torino 1-0 but are just a week removed from defeating Inter Milan. In Saturday’s pick’em, the Serie A Matchday 26 odds price Lazio as -140 favorites to cover. Bologna pk also comes in at +120 odds and the hosts display +210 odds to win the match. While Lazio have managed some excellent results this season, they’ve also lost to the likes of Salernitana and Lecce.

The Biancocelesti show +140 odds to get an impressive eighth road win of the season here. Things could be quite a bit more complicated with defender Adam Marusic and striker Ciro Immobile out, though. Bologna have won four of their last six Serie A matches and display +210 moneyline odds on Saturday. Lazio have struggled in recent seasons at Bologna as they’ve lost the last two meetings on the road. Lazio have won the last three meetings in all competitions, though. Lazio defeated Bologna 1-0 in the Coppa Italia round of 16 and 2-1 in Serie A in August, both at the Stadio Olimpico.

A draw displays +230 odds for Saturday’s match but there’s been a winner in the last seven meetings. While Bologna have conceded the most goals of any top half team this season, only Napoli have conceded fewer times than Lazio. The Biancocelesti have given up just three goals in their last five matches and under 2½ goals show -135 odds for this match.

The hosts are -145 favorites to keep the match within a one-goal margin but +675 moneyline underdogs. Inter have averaged 2.2 goals per game in five games vs. Spezia and over 2½ goals are listed at -130 odds.

Milan Skriniar and Federico Dimarco are currently day-to-day for Inter. A draw comes in at +375 odds and it’d be a third straight for Spezia. However, they’ll be missing midfielder Arkadiusz Reca due to suspension. Most likely, Simone Bastoni and Emil Holm will also miss Friday’s match.

Federico Fazio is doubtful and William Troost-Ekong is out for Monday’s match. The visitors show +105 odds to cover and +1025 odds to get their first-ever Serie A win vs. AC Milan.
