Serie A Matchday 33 Odds: Inter, AC Milan and Roma Level on Points

Napoli One Result Away From Title

Inter, AC Milan and Roma Level on Points

Napoli were unable to clinch their first title in 33 years last Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Salernitana. The Partenopei will get another opportunity on Thursday as they head to Udinese. All it will take for Luciano Spalletti’s side to hoist the trophy is another draw. As Napoli close in on the Scudetto, all of Inter Milan, AC Milan and Roma are level on 57 points. Currently, Inter occupy the fourth and final Champions League spot because of a superior goal difference. As the top-four race heats up, we’ll cover all of these teams’ matches and take a look at the Serie A Matchday 33 odds.

Games of the Week

MON Monza vs Roma ROM

Date, time:

Monza, in their first-ever season in Serie A, currently hold the league’s longest active winning streak. They’ve won their last three matches, which includes victories over Inter Milan and Fiorentina. Monza have entered the top half of the table and will look to play spoiler again when they take on AS Roma on Wednesday.

Roma drew 1-1 vs. AC Milan in a dramatic match on Saturday. Tammy Abraham looked to have scored a stoppage time winner for the Giallorossi but Alexis Saelemaekers equalized with the last kick of the match.

Still very much in the top-four race, the Serie A odds price sixth-placed AS Roma as 0.5-goal favorites. Jose Mourinho’s side come in at +115 ATS and moneyline odds. In their only other Serie A meeting vs. Monza, Roma picked up a comfortable 3-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico. However, Nemanja Matic is suspended for the match and Paulo Dybala is questionable. As a result, Monza come in at -135 odds to force a draw or win the match.

The Serie A new boys also sit at +250 odds to get their fourth straight victory. On their winning streak, Monza have averaged two goals per game and conceded just 0.7 goals per game.

This is a very important two-week period for Roma, as they take on Inter on Saturday in a match with top-four implications. They also contest the first leg of the Europa League Semi-Final vs. Bayer Leverkusen next Thursday.

A win here could build some momentum for the Giallorossi. Regardless, a draw displays +225 odds and Monza would certainly take the point. Monza have been merely average at home this season, with a 6-4-6 record. Both teams are on multi-game scoring streaks and over two goals are priced at -120 odds here.

MIL AC Milan vs Cremonese CRE

Date, time:

With just six matches remaining in the Serie A campaign, it’s now or never for Cremonese. The Lombardy club have won just three matches all season and are currently seven points from safety. On Wednesday, they’ll make the short trip to the region’s capital to take on defending champions AC Milan.

The Rossoneri drew 1-1 at Roma on Saturday in dramatic fashion and also drew 0-0 with Cremonese earlier this season. This time around, the Serie A Matchday 33 odds price another draw at +400.

Milan are unbeaten in their last seven matches, in all competitions. The Rossoneri still have a whole lot to play for this season, as they take on Inter Milan in the Champions League Semi-Final next week. As expected, AC Milan are heavy favorites for Wednesday’s home match.

They show -315 odds to come away with a victory and are 1.5-goal favorites. Although they’ve picked up points in the vast majority of their recent matches, Milan have won just two of their last eight in Serie A. That’s just as many as 19th-placed Cremonese, who sit at -115 odds to cover.

Cremonese haven’t defeated AC Milan since 1994 and come in at just +900 odds to win this match. Although Cremonese are massive underdogs, key Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is suspended for this match. Cremonese’s Giacomo Quagliata is also suspended but isn’t typically a regular starter. The reverse fixture ended in a scoreless draw but over 2.5 goals display a -115 price.

VER Verona vs Inter Milan INT

Date, time:

Inter Milan will look to solidify their standing in the Champions League places as they head to Hellas Verona on Wednesday. Verona, in 18th place in the Serie A standings, have done their best to escape the relegation zone in recent weeks.

They’ve managed a four-game unbeaten run and are just a point away from safety. Inter have won their last two Serie A games, picking up a huge win over Lazio on Matchday 32. All three of Inter’s goals in the 3-1 win came after the 75th minute. Lautaro Martínez scored a double and he leads the Nerazzurri with 17 league goals this season.

The other goalscorer vs. Lazio, Robin Gosens, is out here with a shoulder injury, though. He joins defender Milan Skriniar on Inter’s injury list. Inter are still one-goal road favorites heading into this fixture, which they’ve historically dominated.

The Nerazzurri are on a five-game winning streak vs. Verona and haven’t lost to Hellas since 1992. Inter come in at +125 odds to cover here and are -150 moneyline favorites. Meanwhile, Verona have scored just twice in their last five games vs. Inter. Regardless, they display -145 odds to cover and will very likely escape the relegation zone with a win. However, they’re +425 home underdogs.

Just one of the last nine meetings between these teams have finished in draws. One displays +275 odds here as Verona look to extend their unbeaten run to five. However, they’re likely to be missing forward Kevin Lasagna in this one.

Verona have also failed to score in their last two matches vs. Inter Milan. Inter have scored three goals in their last two Serie A matches but under 2.5 goals come in at -130 odds here.

UDI Udinese vs Napoli NAP

Date, time:

All it’ll take for Napoli to win the league is a draw at Udinese. The 33-year wait for Napoli fans is incredibly close to coming to an end. Even if Napoli lose this match, a single point in their last five matches will clinch the Scudetto.

The Partenopei could be missing Mario Rui and Matteo Politano for this one while Udinese are carrying a bunch of injuries in forward areas. Leading scorer Beto is day-to-day. Meanwhile, Gerard Deulofeu is out for the season and Isaac Success and Simone Pafundi are likely to be out. Key Napoli attackers Victor Osimhen and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia are both available.

The league leaders come in at -115 ATS and moneyline Serie A Matchday 33 odds. Notably, Udinese have lost just two matches at home all season.

Their last loss at home was in January but they are +320 underdogs here. Udinese +0.5 also sits at -105 odds but they lost 1-0 to Lecce over the weekend. The Friulani have won just one of their last five matches in Serie A, though. Napoli are also on a six-game winning streak in this fixture and won 3-2 earlier this season.

The last draw in this fixture was in 2019 and a draw shows +265 odds. Both teams have scored in seven of the last eight meetings and both over and under 2.5 goals come in at -110 odds.

Should Napoli lose this match and Lazio lose or draw vs. Sassuolo, their next opportunity to clinch the title will be on Sunday at home vs. Fiorentina. After failing to defeat Salernitana last weekend, expect Napoli to be motivated to clinch with a few games to spare.
