Coupe de France Quarter Final Odds
Marseille and Lyon Current Favorites

Eight Teams Remain in French Cup
The Coupe de France is often full of surprises and this season has been no exception. Of the eight remaining teams, three play in France’s Ligue 2. The rest are Ligue 1 sides and it’s Marseille and Lyon who are currently joint +225 favorites to win the tournament. PSG, who have won six of the last eight titles, are notably out of the competition. Meanwhile, last season’s winners, Nantes, are still in the competition and take on a strong Lens side on Wednesday. Let’s take a look at the Coupe de France quarter final odds as we preview all of the week’s matches.
Matches This Week:
Lyon vs Grenoble Foot
Date & Time:
Olympique Lyonnais are in the Coupe de France quarter final for the fifth time in the last six seasons. Lyon defeated Lille in penalties in the round of 16 and now take on Ligue 2 Grenoble in the quarter final. Grenoble are yet to face a Ligue 1 side in the Coupe de France this season and their last three wins in the competition have come by a 1-0 scoreline. Still, they are candidates for promotion to Ligue 1 this season. Grenoble are just six points outside of the second promotion slot. This will be a huge challenge for them, though, and the French Cup odds reflect that.
Hosts Lyon enter Tuesday’s match at -350 odds to win and are 1½-goal favorites as well. OL sit at -120 odds to cover the spread, while Grenoble show -110 ATS odds. Grenoble have only made the semifinals of the Coupe de France once in their history and the odds are stacked against them to return.
They’re +825 underdogs for Tuesday’s match and a draw is priced at just +430 odds. However, Lyon do have a number of injuries which could change the complexion of this match. Forwards Alexandre Lacazette and Rayan Cherki are both listed as day-to-day. The same goes for midfielders Corentin Tolisso, Houssem Aouar and Thiago Mendes. Defender Malo Gusto will miss this match for Lyon as well.
Despite the injuries, Lyon managed a 3-1 win over last-placed Angers on Saturday. Meanwhile, Grenoble managed to hold Ligue 2 leaders Le Havre to a scoreless draw. Still, Grenoble are winless in their last three matches, in all competitions. They’ve also averaged just one goal per game in Ligue 2 this season. It figures to be even more difficult to score on Tuesday and under three goals display -135 odds for the match. Notably, Grenoble GK Esteban Salles leads the Coupe de France with four clean sheets.
After Lens defeated Nantes 3-1 just over a week ago, the two sides meet again in the Coupe de France. It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Nantes as they’ve lost their last two Ligue 1 matches. The defending Coupe de France champions also lost 3-0 to Juventus last Thursday, which spelled their elimination from the Europa League. Lens drew at Montpellier on Saturday and their Champions League hopes are very much still alive. Regardless, both teams advanced to the Coupe de France quarter final on penalty shootout victories.
The Coupe de France quarter final odds currently price Lens as -140 ATS and moneyline favorites. Lens have only lost one of the last eight meetings between the two sides and defeated Nantes 4-2 in the 2021 Coupe de France. Heading into Wednesday’s match, Nantes +½ comes in at +110 odds.
The hosts only sit at +360 odds to win the match and two of the last three meetings have finished in draws. Wednesday’s match displays +280 odds to finish all square and go into extra time. Two of Nantes’ three previous Coupe de France matches this season have done so.
In a blow for Lens, midfielder Adrien Thomasson left Saturday’s match vs. Montpellier with an undisclosed injury. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to suit up. Regardless, Lens have found the net in 11 of their last 12 matches. They’ve also managed Ligue 1’s best defensive record this season. So it’s not too big of a surprise that under 2½ goals show -130 odds for this quarter final matchup.
Toulouse vs Rodez
Date & Time:
Toulouse and Rodez were both in Ligue 2 in the 2021-22 season. Despite the fact that Toulouse earned promotion, Rodez won the season series. These teams drew 1-1 at Toulouse last season and Rodez won the reverse fixture, 1-0. Rodez’s road to the Coupe de France quarter final has been nothing short of magical as well.
They’ve won three times in PK shootouts and knocked out Auxerre and Ligue 1 powerhouses Monaco in the process. Rodez, who are in last place in Ligue 2, may very well get relegated but they’ve stepped things up in the French Cup.
Rodez will hope to pull off yet another upset as they travel to Toulouse on Wednesday. However, Toulouse enter the match as -260 favorites despite losing 3-0 to Reims on Sunday. In fact, the Ligue 1 team stats note that Toulouse have conceded more goals than all but five teams this season.
At the same time, Rodez’s issue has been scoring goals and they have the joint-fewest in Ligue 2. The +600 moneyline underdogs do sit at -145 odds to cover the 1½-goal spread but failed to score in their last two games. Clement Depres has managed to score seven goals this season for Rodez in Ligue 2, while none of his teammates have more than two.
For Toulouse, Thijs Dallinga and Branco van den Boomen have been the two main danger men. Van den Boomen has the third-most passes into the final third in Ligue 1, while Dallinga has scored nine goals in 2022-23. Despite the threat they pose, Toulouse -1½ comes in at +115 odds. Meanwhile, three of Rodez’s five Coupe de France matches have finished in 90-minute draws. Another one displays +380 odds here. Under three goals also show -145 odds for Wednesday’s match.
Marseille vs Annecy
Date & Time:
Marseille and Annecy both got annihilated over the weekend. OM hosted PSG, who they knocked out of the Coupe de France, in Le Classique and the Parisians came away with a 3-0 win. Meanwhile, mid-table Ligue 2 side Annecy lost 5-1 to Sochaux.
They’ll both look to put their losses behind them on Wednesday in the Coupe de France quarter final. Marseille haven’t reached the semifinal of this competition since 2015-16. Still, the Coupe de France quarter final odds price Marseille as massive -465 favorites.
OM are also two-goal favorites for Wednesday’s match. However, Annecy come in at -130 odds to cover the spread while Marseille show even ATS odds. Even though Marseille fell 3-0 on Sunday they still managed to put six shots on target and hadn’t been shut out since October.
Meanwhile, Annecy have conceded in their last eight matches, in all competitions. Bookmakers are expecting a high-scoring game with the over/under goal total at 3½. The under is currently favored, at -135 odds. Over a third of Annecy’s goals this season have come from Dion Moise Sahi.
Marseille’s biggest offensive contributors this season have been forward Alexis Sanchez and wing back Jonathan Clauss. Sanchez has nine goals while Clauss is third in Ligue 1 with eight assists. This is Annecy’s first match vs. a Ligue 1 team in the Coupe de France this season and it’ll be a tough one. Annecy have just a 2-6-5 record on the road in Ligue 2 and are +1000 underdogs here. A draw shows long +525 odds as well.
