He landed 147 significant strikes when losing the title, compared to 129 from Pantoja. The 30-year-old continued to battle all the way to the end, showing his champion qualities.
Of all the UFC fighters, he’s one of the toughest going around. At 21-7-2, he has the experience needed to beat Royval for the second time.

Moreno vs Royval 2 UFC odds might have him as the underdog, but based on his striking in the title fight, he could outscore Moreno if he’s anywhere near his best.
The more explosive power is with Moreno. Royval likes to rack up the numbers without doing too much damage, so he might need to improve on his power to score the win before the final bell.

Moreno is the better fighter, and he has shown that consistently throughout his career, and it’s come at the highest level.

Many punches will be thrown, and it could be an early contender for Fight of the Year if all goes to plan, but it’s likely to go the distance.
