UFC Undercard Odds: Three Rock Solid Fights Worth $$
UFC 289 From Rogers Arena

There is plenty of value with UFC Undercard odds, and we picked out three of the best fights to include in your selections.
While Amanda Nunes vs Irene Aldana headline the card, we’re excited by the prelims and early prelims, which include some great fights.
In terms of UFC events in 2023, we couldn’t be more excited for this Saturday’s action.
Imanov vs Curtis
Nassourdine Imanov vs Chris Curtis is the feature preliminary fight at UFC 289, and we’re picking Imanov to get the job done as the -155 favorite.
The 12-4 fighter comes off a loss to Sean Strickland, but Strickland is one of the best light heavyweights in the UFC, so moving back to middleweight should suit the 28-year-old Russian.
Prior to the loss he defeated Joaquin Buckley and Edmen Shahbazyan, so the form is there, and Curtis has 10 losses on his record, so he’s not meeting harder opposition.
UFC Undercard odds have Imanov at -155 and that’s worth including.
“I might get into the Top 10, because I think I deserve it. Winning is good, but putting on a show is also important; it will give me more hype, and that’s what I need,” Imanov said.
We expect his odds to firm to around -200 on fight night, so bettors should take the value available.
Nelson vs Bilder
There hasn’t been much talk about the Kyle Nelson vs Blake Bilder fight, but UFC odds are drawing us in.
Bilder is unbeaten at 8-0-1 following a decision win over Shane Young, and although Young isn’t a top featherweight, it’s better form than Nelson, and it was his UFC debut.
It was a clear-cut decision win, and the UFC Undercard odds of -245 look right on the money for the favorite.
Nelson is 13-5-1, so he has more experience, but we weren’t impressed with his loss to Jai Herbert last year, which followed a knockout loss to Billy Quarantillo, so it has been four years since Nelson was victorious.
“I don’t see anywhere that Blake is better than any of my previous opponents,” Nelson said. “I think Doo-ho Choi’s striking, Jai Herbert’s striking, Diego Ferreira’s grappling — I’ve faced the best of the best in a lot of these areas.”
Unfortunately for Nelson, we disagree, so include Bilder in your UFC picks.
Dvorak vs Erceg
David Dvorak looks to have the class and experience edge over Stephen Erceg, who doesn’t even have a picture on his UFC profile.
Dvorak is 20-5 following a loss to Manuel Kape, but Kape is one of the more dangerous fighters in the flyweight division, so we’re not surprised by the loss.
Despite his most recent win coming in 2021 when submitting Juan camilo Ronderos, Dvorak should have the edge over Erceg, who fills in for the injured Matthew Schnell.
Erceg is 9-1 and he believes he needs only five fights to get a title shot.
“But I really believe four good fights – four finishes – and I’m in that title picture,” Erceg said. “And I believe I can hang with the top five right now, too.
“There are a couple who wrestle really well but the majority are mostly strikers so I feel like my wrestling can translate well.”
Australians aren’t known for being humble, and Erceg could be eating humble pie at UFC 289. Take the -275 for Dvorak with UFC Undercard odds.
