Showboats vs Panthers

Showboats | Panthers | |
---|---|---|
Spread | +8.5 | -8.5 |
Moneyline | +370 | -485 |
Total | Over 46.5 | Under 46.5 |
The Showboats (1-6) have lost six straight since their Week 1 win and rank last in the UFL in both total offense (232.9 yards per game) and total defense (350.7 yards allowed per game). They have given up 30-plus points in five consecutive games on the UFL schedule 2024, including a season-high 47 in a Week 7 loss to Arlington.
With three weeks remaining, they’re simply playing out the string. Keep that in mind when assessing the UFL Week 8 odds.
Meanwhile, things have gone much better for the Panthers. Winners of three straight, the Panthers (5-2) have seen their UFL title odds climb from +1300 to +900.
The Panthers have the league’s second-best rushing offense, averaging 119.4 yards per game. Matthew Colburn II surpassed that by himself (16 carries, 137 yards) in last week’s 22-9 win over D.C.

Jordan Ta’amu, the reigning XFL Offensive Player of the Year, has struggled with his efficiency (54.9 completion rate).
Despite losing last week, St. Louis (5-2) remains the biggest threat in the UFL ranking to Birmingham with +230 title odds. The Battlehawks are averaging a healthy 28.4 points per game, led by A.J. McCarron. A former three-time NCAA champion at Alabama, McCarron has thrown a league-high 14 touchdowns compared to only three interceptions.
