XFL Betting Report For Week 1

The beginning of the 2023 XFL schedule was a big hit for those betting on XFL chalk: all three won and two covered the point spread. The only favorite that failed to cover was the Arlington Renegades. The team edged Vegas by just two points as a 3.5-point favorite. It also needed a second-half comeback to win.

Speaking of comebacks, the Battlehawks scored 15 points in the final minutes of their game against the Brahmas. It was an awesome backdoor cover for those who backed St. Louis as 2.5-point favorites. But for those who bet the Brahmas, it was a bad beat. The line also moved to three points for St. Louis in some books so this would have been a push instead.

As for the totals, three of the four games hit the 40-point mark. In fact, the Roughnecks nearly covered the 36.5-point total by themselves. They scored 33 points, which was the highest of Week 1, and easily blew past their 3.5-point cover with a 21-point victory.
