XFL Week 7 Betting Odds Preview: Just Crown Them Already!
Undefeated D.C. Stands Above the Crowd
Unbeaten D.C. Gets the Winless Guardians for Week 7
The D.C. Defenders continued to dominate the XFL as it handed the Houston Roughnecks, who remain the top team in the South Division, its second consecutive loss. The Defenders now get a chance to go 7-0 as it takes on the Orlando Guardians as sizable 9.5-point favorites. This should be another blowout or it will be the biggest upset based on these XFL Week 7 betting odds.
XFL Week 6 Betting Report: Rockin’ on the Road
The Defenders defended their home turf and sent the Roughnecks packing. They were the only home team to win their game in Week 6 as the first three road teams won in enemy territory. Seattle, St. Louis, and San Antonio all won although the Sea Dragons failed to cover as 9.5-point favorites over Orlando.
The Sea Dragons needed a big fourth quarter to put away Orlando. In a similar fashion, the Brahmas had to shut out Arlington in the fourth to escape with a 15-9 victory in the Choctaw Stadium. San Antonio returned the favor by upsetting Arlington in their own stadium just as the Renegades did to the Brahmas in Week 5.
And finally, the Battlehawks bounced back emphatically by blowing out Vegas 29-6. The 23-point win was the largest margin of victory for the XFL this season as quarterback A.J. McCarron threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns. As far as the 2023 XFL teams go, St. Louis is just behind D.C. as the best XFL team.
Seattle Sea Dragons (4-2) vs Arlington Renegades (3-3)
Location: Choctaw Stadium, Arlington, TX
Day/Time: Streaming: FX, ESPN+
Seattle will go for a fifth straight victory as it visits Arlington as 4.5-point favorites. The total is set as the lowest-scoring game this week at just 38 points. Arlington scores the fewest points (13 per game) and allows the second-fewest (16.8). It’s no surprise that five of their six games (including all three as an underdog) have gone under the total. The Sea Dragons, on the flip side, had three of its four games as a favorite go over the total.
San Antonio Brahmas (2-4) vs Vegas Vipers (1-5)
Location: Cashman Field, Las Vegas, NV
Day/Time: Streaming: ESPN2, ESPN+
On the topic of low-scoring games, the XFL Week 7 betting odds have this game as another one: 39 points as a total. San Antonio has allowed the fewest points (14.7) per game and is also scoring the second-fewest (14.8). Vegas gives up over 27.1 points per game, however, thus four of its six games have gone over the total. As for the spread, San Antonio is expected to win as a three-point favorite. It is 1-1 against the spread (ATS) as chalk.
D.C. Defenders (6-0) vs Orlando Guardians (0-6)
Location: Camping World Stadium, Orlando, FL
Day/Time: Streaming: ESPN, ESPN+
Another week with another near-10-point spread against the Guardians. However, don’t underestimate this hapless outfit as it has actually covered threeof its six spreads. But D.C. is a perfect 6-0 on both the spread and moneyline so it might be another blowout in its favor. As for the total, the 44.5 points are the most on the XFL Week 7 betting odds. Both teams have had five of their six games go over the total this season.
St. Louis Battlehawks (4-2) vs Houston Roughnecks (4-2)
Location: TDECU Stadium, Houston, TX
Day/Time: Streaming: ESPN, ESPN+
This Sunday matinee showdown could be the best game of the week. Three points are what separate Houston (-3) and St. Louis in a battle of the XFL’s second-best teams per the XFL odds. Both teams are 4-2 on both the spread and moneyline. This will be a showdown between top-tier passing offenses with Houston having thrown 13 touchdowns to St. Louis’s 14.
