After a visit from the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, the Bank of America Stadium turns Arizona red in Week 4 with the Cardinal’s 4th visit in as many years. Those years have not proven very positive for this week’s visitors, with their last 6 meetings ending in Panthers victories, including an NFC wildcard game and an NFC championship game.

The 2021 season demonstrated that so much of the Carolina Panthers’ success was dependent on the health of star running back (and often the receiver) Christian McCaffrey. Matt Rhule and staff will be hoping to get significantly more than the 7 games out of him that he completed in 2021 if the Carolina boys are to return to past glories in the NFC South. Those looking to bet on NFL games might look to a home victory for longer odds given their opponents this week, but history would also be on your side, with the series 14-5 in the Panther’s favor.

The Cardinals will be looking to emulate their away form of the 2021 season, having lost only once on the road in a surprising defeat to Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Home form proved more of a challenge to come by, and will no doubt have been at the forefront of a lot of the conversations between Kliff Kingsbury and his team in preparation for this season. We await to see how that pans out across the season.
