It’s the penultimate Monday Night Football of the 2022 regular season, and what a matchup this promises to be! The Buffalo Bills will make their way to Cincinnati to take on last year’s surprise act and Super Bowl runners-up, the Cincinnati Bengals. Expect offense, offense, and more offense in this one, as two of the sport’s strongest arms come to blows for the first time since 2019. How will those that choose to bet on NFL games see this one? We offer some insight below.

Bills vs Bengals Highlights
The Bills lead the series by 17-15 but much has changed since these two last met in 2019. They weren’t the forces to be reckoned with that they are now. The Bills won that matchup 21-17 and have fared marginally better over their last 10 games, winning 6 of them. Their period of dominance came between 1989 and 2010 when this week’s visitors were successful in all ten matches against the Bengals. However, they have failed to lodge a back-to-back win since then.
The Bengals will be hoping to continue that trend this week. With the available talent on both teams’ offensive rosters, Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals could well be one of the best MNFs this season. The Bills had the 5th best offense in offensive yards gained per game in 2021 and used a combination of air and ground to wear their opponents down. The Bengals finished 7th in yards gained through the air with Joe Burrow finding Ja’Marr Chase downfield for a significant proportion of those yards.
The neutral will be hoping for this to be a Monday night shootout, and NFL betting odds might reflect that, but I would look to the pre-season favorites in the Buffalo Bills to cover the spread this week.
