Bengals vs Patriots Highlights

Even though the Bengals’ run to the Super Bowl was unbelievable, it came a bit too soon for a team that was still retooling. By adding La’el Collins and Alex Cappa to the offensive line, the team has addressed a major weakness from last season in the hopes of protecting their franchise quarterback and giving him more time to find scoring opportunities. Ja’Maar Chase and Joe Mixon, two of the Bengals’ top offensive threats, could put up monster numbers if this upgrade holds against the Patriots.

The Patriots drafted guard Cole Strange in the first round as part of their effort to strengthen their offensive line. It was expected that they would try to strengthen the unit in the trenches, but some people thought Strange was drafted too soon. He’ll be joining Trent Brown and Isaiah Wynn on the offensive line. If they can mesh, they’ll help to slow down Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard, two of the Bengals’ pass rushers, and give Mac Jones more time to make plays.

New England has a commanding 17-9 lead in the historic head-to-head. Ten of the last twelve matchups have ended in Patriots victories, and Bill Belichick has only lost twice to the Bengals in his time with New England. If you bet on NFL games, back Bill’s record here and expect him to figure out a way to slow Burrow and co and get the W.
