NFL Week 10 sees an exciting AFC North vs AFC East battle in Florida, with the Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins. Both of these teams struggled a fair bit last season and failed to make the playoffs. Can they go one better this year and play some meaningful football in January?

Despite having their starting quarterback Baker Mayfield out for the majority of the season due to an injury, Cleveland had a rough season in 2018 and failed to build off their breakthrough 2020 season, which had resulted in the franchise’s first playoff victory in years. In 2022, however, the team decided to undergo a major overhaul, trading away a lot of assets in exchange for the scandal-plagued quarterback Deshaun Watson (who will miss 11 games due to suspension).

Miami had a difficult year in 2021 as well, finishing 9-8 and not reaching the playoffs. However, they were able to turn around a 1-7 start to win 7 straight, making them the first NFL team to ever lose 7 straight games and then win 7 straight. However, they fired Brian Flores as head coach and hired Mike McDaniel from San Francisco for this season.

The last time these two teams met was back in 2019, when Cleveland romped to a 41-24 win off the back of 148 yards and two touchdowns for Jarvis Landry. He’s gone this year, though, so can new Brown Amari Cooper repeat this feat and go wild for Cleveland?
