After a Week 14 all-AFC South encounter, the regular season concludes with a Titans vs Jaguars NFL Week 18 matchup. In their respective divisions, the Titans finished as champions and the Jags as cellar dwellers last season. But who will triumph this week, and how will the NFL betting odds interpret it?

The scandals that rocked head coach Urban Meyer only made things worse by providing the team with unnecessary distractions. They bolstered their core around Lawrence by signing wide receiver Christian Kirk to a lucrative contract during the off-season. In year 2, the former Clemson quarterback has unlocked more of his potential, which could cause problems for Tennessee Tians given that their defense was middle-of-the-pack in yards allowed last season. Despite missing nine games and rushing for nearly a thousand yards, Derrick Henry finished last season ranked ninth in the overall rushing standings. Given AJ Brown’s off-season move to Philadelphia, the Titans are relying even more heavily on Henry “the Bulldozer” in 2022. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill may be fighting for his job as well, as youngster Malik Willis is pushing to take over as the starting quarterback. They will be taking it out on the Jaguars’ defense, which allowed the fifth-most points in the league a year ago. (This will certainly affect the NFL odds on this one!)

The Tennessee squad has dominated the head-to-head matchup between these two teams. Can the Nashville-based franchise, which has defeated the Duval team nine times out of the last ten, improve this record? If you bet on NFL games, it should be a safe bet to favor the Titans against a Jaguars team that is still deficient despite some improvements.
