Raiders vs Chiefs Highlights
With New England offensive wizard Josh McDaniel as head coach, the Las Vegas Raiders will now be aiming to put the Gruden issue in the past and find some consistency. They also made a major off-season move by acquiring wide receiver Davante Adams from the Green Bay Packers. They’ll need his firepower if they want to survive. The Chargers have added JC Jackson and Khalil Mack to their defense, while DangeRuss, aka Russell Wilson, has joined the Broncos. The Chiefs, the opponents that the Raiders face in this matchup, have quarterback Pat Mahomes so they are a consistent Super Bowl contender.
For most seasons in the Mahomes/Reed era, the Chiefs have been one of the most talked about teams; this season, they have flown under the radar somewhat. While the AFC championship game was a disappointment for the Arrowhead faithful, they nevertheless had a great playoff run and should be confident of more success. Mahomes is still the most talented quarterback in the league, and despite some playoff disappointment since that first Super Bowl, he remains a magician under center.
The Chiefs have won an unbelievable 13 out of the last 15 matches against the Raiders, who will hope they can finally start turning the tide. The Midwest team also owns the historic head-to-head, 70-54-2, so it’s clear which side history favors. If you are betting on NFL games, favor a Chiefs win again, with a high-scoring affair under the primetime lights.
