Week 3 has a matchup between Las Vegas Raiders and the Tennessee Titans. These teams are playoff teams from a year ago, so they will both be expectant of returning to the bright lights of January football. How will they match up this week, and who will the NFL betting odds make the favorite?

The Las Vegas Raiders will be hoping to put the Gruden saga behind them in 2022 and have some much-needed stability with the appointment of New England offensive guru Josh McDaniels as head coach. They also pulled off one of the trades of the off-season – bringing Davante Adams in from the Green Bay Packers. They will no doubt need his firepower. The Broncos brought in DangeRuss himself, Russell Wilson; the Chargers bolstered their defense with JC Jackson and Khalil Mack; and the Chiefs were always a Super Bowl contender with Pat Mahomes.

It’s often forgotten after a playoff disappointment and a long offseason that the Tennessee Titans were the AFC’s number one seed last year. That 19-16 loss to the Bengals has the potential to cause a scar, and they will also need to get over the loss of receiver AJ Brown in an off-season trade. They have some stability elsewhere, though, with Ryan Tannehill still at QB and Derrick Henry a fixture at running back. They will need rookie Treylon Burks to contribute straight away if they are to get close to the number one seed again.

These two teams hadn’t met since 2019 when the Titans comfortably took care of business in a 42-21 win. If you’re looking for a bet on NFL games in Week 3, this one may well be a toss-up that could go either way. Back either side, but do so with the points spread under 3 points. This could be a real nail-biter.
