America’s Team finds itself in at the deep end in Week 1, as the Buccaneers visit the AT&T stadium for the first time since 2018. Previous visits to the Lone Star State have not been kind to this week’s road team, but the return of Tom Brady for season 23 will no doubt offer a resurgence in confidence to last year’s wild card winners and those having a bet on NFL games.

Buccaneers vs Cowboys Highlights
Dallas’ star-studded offense takes on the Buccaneers’ star-studded defense in what promises to be one of the standout matchups of the week. The Cowboys will look to regain some dignity for a division that has struggled in quality for a number of years, and a home game against the 2020 Super Bowl winners presents no better opportunity to stake their claim as NFC favorites.
The Buccaneers also find themselves divisional favorites this year, and by some distance. However, they will need to replicate their status as last year’s most explosive offense without the assistance of veteran TE Rob Gronkowski, who announced his retirement earlier this year. That’s not to say they are lacking in other options, with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin now supported by Russell Gage and 7-time pro bowler Julio Jones, after a mediocre year by his standards in Tennessee.
NFL betting odds are likely to lean in favor of the Buccaneers and their solidity across the board, although much will depend on the form of the Cowboys’ star pairing in RB Ezekiel Elliot, who posted a career-low 13.9 carries per game in 2021, and in QB Dak Prescott. Will Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys bring an opportunity to atone for another year of off-season misery in Dallas? Or will Tom Brady add to his 6-0 unbeaten streak against the Cowboys? Only time will tell.
