Titans vs Chiefs Highlights

It’s often forgotten after a playoff disappointment and a long offseason that the Tennessee Titans were the AFC’s number one seed last year. That 19-16 loss to the Bengals has the potential to cause a scar, and they also need to get over the loss of receiver AJ Brown in an off-season trade. They have some stability elsewhere, though, with Ryan Tannehill still at QB and Derrick Henry a fixture at running back. They will need rookie Treylon Burks to contribute immediately if they are to get close to the number one seed again.

Aside from making it to their fourth straight AFC championship game, the 2021 season will be looked back on as a “what if” moment in the Mahomes and Reed era. They were dominating the Bengals at halftime, but their offense did not perform in the second half and were thus eliminated from playoff contention. Even though they are still the club to beat in the AFC West, they lost their biggest offensive game changer when Tyreek Hill signed over to the Dolphins squad.

While the Chiefs have at least 12 wins in every season since Mahomes became a starter, their record against the Titans isn’t as good, losing 2-1 in the three games he’s played. They did defeat the Nashville team in the 2019 AFC championship game, though, en route to a Super Bowl title.

If you bet on NFL games, how will this one go? The Chiefs should be the favorite to win at home, but time will tell whether they can pull it off at Arrowhead and secure a W for their home fans.
