Christmas Day Games: Full NBA and NFL Schedule
The Best Time of the Year Has Arrive with Eight Games on Christmas Day

Son of a Nutcracker! 🎄
So, I went to a state school in Florida, but if my math is correct we have five NBA games plus three NFL games on Christmas Day. This could make for eight crazy nights (shouts to Adam Sandler), except that all these games are in a 10-hour window on Christmas.
All we do here is give you winners, and that includes tips on how to live your life. Is there anything better than ranking things? Try arbitrarily judging the gifts you receive this year by ranking all the items and harboring ill will against the bad gift-givers. It will do wonders for your little Grinch heart.
I’ve taken the liberty (by the urging of the powers that be) of ranking every NBA and NFL game on Christmas. When you aren’t making small talk about aliens with your aunt, here is a guide on how to spend the holiday.
Or you could just watch “A Christmas Story” marathon and lose a lot less money than betting on these matchups. But we all know money you don’t bet means money you can’t win (sort of).
Merry Christmas to all my grinches.
P.S. How amazing is this video below?

No. 1
Ravens vs 49ers
Two Super Bowl contenders squaring off in primetime to end Christmas Day? Yes, please.
Week 16, Monday Night Football brings fans the ultimate gift 🎁

Can Lamar Jackson eat into Brock Purdy’s lead in the MVP race? One of these squads will make a statement just in time for the postseason. NFL news tells us these are two of the top Super Bowl contenders.
Here’s Lil’ Wayne talking about the game. This is a phrase I was today years old when I first said it.
.@LilTunechi’s gut feeling tells him the 49ers will beat the Ravens on Christmas:
“They’re the 49ers and how they’ve been playing all season. You know what Lamar does, but that Niners defense is crazy.” pic.twitter.com/Sdf9J5ooob

No. 2
Celtics vs Lakers
This matchup reminds me of that Winning Time show on HBO. Sadly it got canceled. Anyway, this one has plenty of star power. LeBron has to work more on Christmas more than a Starbucks employee. Something tells me the pay is slightly better.
No. 3
Mavericks vs Suns
There’s like a 70% chance I fall asleep but I am believing in myself to power through. This is a great Western Conference matchup with KD, Luka, and new addition Bradley Beal.

No. 4
Raiders vs Chiefs
Who can resist infinite Taylor Swift reaction footage on Christmas Day? I probably can but here we are.
Raiders are playing better and as long as Patrick Mahomes is wearing red and yellow the Chiefs are worth watching.
No. 5
Warriors vs Nuggets
With Steph and The Joker playing, there is enough star power to make this one interesting. My main fear is this could get ugly if the Nuggets play anywhere near their best.
The lack of Draymond Green decreases the chances of a Christmas Day fight. There’s always next year.
No. 6
76ers vs Heat
Jimmy Butler has been injured, so it will be worth watching to see if the Heat star plays. It is always worth watching Butler play against his former team.
This game is going to get overshadowed by the massive NFL showdown going on at the same time. There is a reason why God made multiple TVs.
No. 7
Giants vs Eagles
No word yet on whether Santa will get booed again this Christmas. Honestly, this matchup is pretty underwhelming.

The Eagles have enough offensive weapons but the unit has looked anemic. We might get some funny shots of Tommy Devito’s agent. The Lakers-Celtics mean we won’t have to watch a second of this one if you are trying to quit Giants football.
No. 8
Bucks vs Knicks
Maybe this one should be higher because I love watching Dame Lillard. This Knicks team just doesn’t excite me, and I feel like this matchup starts every NBA Christmas schedule.
The 12 p.m. tipoff doesn’t help as I feel like the mid-afternoon games are the perfect window of the holiday to start watching sports. Let’s agree to keep an eye on the score, and if Giannis is doing Giannis things then maybe we catch some of it.
