Tyson Fury Will Fight Anthony Joshua After Usyk Rematch!
"The Gipsy King" Is Set to Fight Joshua in Wembley by Mid-2025

Historic British Battle 🥊
After losing his most recent undisputed heavyweight championship clash, Tyson Fury’s rematch clause with Oleksandr Usyk has been activated. However, the former British champ is also gearing up for a long-awaited in-ring battle with fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
That’s the boxing news promoter Bob Arum revealed this past weekend, and it’s the kind of announcement fighting fans have long waited for!

Arum Spills the Beans
In a hard-fought battle in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 18, Fury’s undefeated record came to an end as Usyk pieced him up—a loss that also meant that Fury had to relinquish his WBC heavyweight strap.
However, while Arum sparked boxing rumors and confirmed the rematch clause for a Usyk bout is indeed the plan for Fury’s next fight, he also spilled the beans regarding a high-profile, all-British showdown with Joshua is in the works.
During an interview with TalkSport, Arum said:
“Next year, win or lose, whatever happens, that fight [Fury vs AJ] is something that has to happen because there is so much talk about it in the UK.
“I would be very surprised if that fight didn’t happen at Wembley by mid-2025.”
Joshua was last seen flatlining Francis Ngannou in the boxing ring, which was notably an accomplishment Fury couldn’t do. Meanwhile, he awaits his next opponent, AJ can be found dropping some rap bars at your local London night club…

Fury vs Joshua Has to Happen
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have been entangled in friendly beef for a long time. However, fans might finally get the chance to see two of boxing’s biggest stars duke it out in the ring.
Arum also spoke on the matter at hand: a rematch with Usyk:
“There’s a rematch clause, and Tyson has exercised it. That fight will take place either at the end of the year or the beginning of next year.”
“It will take place again in Riyadh. That is the contract that both fighters have signed. It was such a great and controversial fight. Many people thought Tyson pulled it out; some people felt that Usyk deserved the win he got.
“Let’s see what happens in the rematch. I think there will be a lot of interest and, win or lose, I would love to see Tyson, who I believe will win the rematch.”
I appreciate Arum’s optimism, but outside of Fury’s British fan base and UK-based boxing critics, there weren’t many who believed Fury won the bout. The only controversy was the fact that the referee may have saved “The Gypsy King” from a knockout defeat.

Either way and as Arum mentioned, win or lose in their next bouts, we’ll likely see AJ vs. Fury at some point in the future… bring on the English boxing civil war!!
