U.S Cremonese Stats History
A group of friends founded U.S. Cremonese in 1903, originally as a multi-sports club. The Cremonese soccer team first played in 1910. Their gray and red kits and subsequent Grigiorossi nickname date back to 1914. One of the notable Cremonese stats is that they were participants in the first Serie A season.
After two years, they were relegated to Serie B and have spent most of their time in the lower divisions. Cremonese languished for decades but Domenico Luzzara’s club presidency helped to revitalize them. In the 70s, Cremonese managed to win both the Serie D and Serie C championships. The next Serie A season in the U.S. Cremonese stats was in 1984-85.

Unfortunately, their stay only lasted one season. Cremonese did return for one-year spells in 1989 and 1991, though. The best period in Cremonese’s history was from 1993 to 1996. In 1993, the Grigiorossi won the Anglo-Italian Cup by defeating Derby County in the final.
Then, they returned to Serie A for three years, their longest ever. In 1993-94, they managed their best-ever Serie A finish, 10th place. Relegation struck once again in 1996 and the club suffered a decline.
Cremonese played in Serie C from 2006 until winning promotion to Serie B in 2017. Their promotion to Serie A in 2022 caught many off guard. Betting advice often implied they would be a mid-table club, as they hadn’t finished higher than ninth in the last four seasons. However, Cremonese managed to finish second and seal their first promotion to Serie A in nearly 30 years.
The Serie A odds price Cremonese as incredibly unlikely to make a splash in their first season back. They’re listed at +10000 odds to make the top four.
