Anthony Edwards Stats: Minnesota Star Coming Up Big
Guard Helps Timberwolves to 2-0 Series Lead
Few people expected the Minnesota Timberwolves to go into Denver and take the first two games of their NBA playoff series. Anthony Edwards wasn’t of them and his play the past four games has Minnesota close to reaching the Western Conference Finals. The Anthony Edwards stats show he’s averaged 36.5 points over the last four games. She’s shot .522 or better in those four games and is averaging 6.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists in that span. The NBA schedule has Denver visiting Minnesota on Friday, and Edwards will need another big game.

In 17 career playoff games, he’s averaging 29.6 points, well above the 22.9 points her averages in regular season games. More important to the Timberwolves, Edwards has helped the team in the NBA standings. In his first year, the Timberwolves were 23-49. His second season saw Minnesota improve to 46-36, but the Timberwolves slipped a little last season with a 42-40 record. The last two seasons Edwards has been named to the NBA All-Star team and averaged 24.6 points last season and 25.9 points per game this year. Edwards has also seen his assist total climb each season.
