Understanding NBA Team Stats
On this page you will find information related to all NBA teams stats. It splits into the two conferences (Eastern and Western) and six divisions in total. There’s the Atlantic, Central and Southeast (Eastern) and Northwest, Pacific and Southwest (Western). In each of these divisions, there are five teams.
It’s not a bad idea to pay attention to a teams’ stats in splits, for example as in how they perform against the division, and conference and non-conference opponents. Since most NBA betting games are played within the conference (at least 60 percent), a weaker conference team may have better stats than one from a tougher conference or division.
Basketball team stats can also be examined by preseason, regular NBA season or NBA Playoff, with the regular season containing the biggest sample size with which to study.
