About Euro Cup
UEFA Euro 2024 will take place in Germany as the host country. Germany was awarded the privilege of staging the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship at a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Nyon on September 27, 2018. This marks the second time Germany will host the prestigious tournament, with the first occasion being the 1988 edition.
It is a momentous occasion for Germany as it is the first time they will host the UEFA European Championship since their reunification, following their successful hosting of the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
The tournament will feature ten host cities and their respective stadiums across the country. Nine of these stadiums were previously used during the 2006 World Cup, with the addition of the Düsseldorf Arena. The host cities can be found below.

West Germany claimed victory in 1972 and 1980, while the reunited Germany triumphed as champions in EURO ’96. The remaining 23 spots taken from the Euro 2024 groups in the tournament will be determined through the European Qualifiers, held from March to November 2023, and the subsequent play-offs scheduled for March 2024.
