Unbeaten Teams Face Winless Teams in 7:00 p.m. Games
After a clean sweep for the favorites last week, the XFL Week 4 odds are beginning to get wider: All four matchups are giving at least four points to all the underdogs. The two unbeaten teams in Houston and D.C. are also favored by six points or more as they take on the only winless squads in Orlando and Vegas, respectively. These potentially lopsided matchups are in the prime viewing time slots.
XFL Betting Report Week 3: House Cleans Up With Favorites
Sorry, underdog bettors. All four dogs from Week 3 got handled as favorites went 4-0 on the moneyline and 3-1 on the point spread per the XFL Week 4 odds. Only the Guardians, the week’s largest underdogs at +8.5, beat their spread. But it may have also been a bad beat for their moneyline bettors as the Guardians went up 9-3 in the fourth until Arlington rallied to pull out the win.
As for the rest, most of the games were not close. The Sea Dragons scored 15 fourth-quarter points to win and cover against Vegas while D.C. and Houston built early leads and never looked back. The Defenders handed the Battlehawks their first loss. There were no late-game heroics to save the day for A.J. McCarron and company this time.
While favorites dominated the picks, the totals split 2-2 with the first two games going over and the latter two going under. The Orlando-Arlington game had the lowest total at just 19 points while the San Antonio-Houston game just went under its 36-point total at 35 thanks to a measly six points scored in the second half.
Houston Roughnecks vs Orlando Guardians

Houston looks to stay unbeaten as it rematches the still-winless Orlando. For the second straight week, the Guardians are 8.5-point underdogs. It covered last week but got demolished 33-12 against Houston in Week 1. The Roughnecks have yet to allow more than 13 points from their opponents. The totals (38 in this game) have both gone over when Houston is the favorite.
San Antonio Brahmas vs Seattle Sea Dragons

The Brahmas conclude its three-game road trip in Seattle as the Sea Dragons look to win a second straight game. The XFL Week 4 odds favor Seattle. Ben DiNucci and Josh Gordon continue to be a star tandem for Seattle as the former threw for 377 yards and four touchdowns while the latter caught a 65-yard TD in crunch time. All of Seattle’s games have gone over the total, which is at 40.5 here.
Arlington Renegades vs St. Louis Battlehawks

The Renegades are 2-1, but they are the only 0-3 teams on the spread thus far. Arlington eked out a win over Orlando last week. These teams share similarities outside of their records. Both won their games via fourth-quarter comebacks. It will be Kyle Sloter versus McCarron here and the book favors St. Louis at four points. The total of 36.5 is the lowest XFL odds.
Vegas Vipers vs D.C. Defenders

Vegas is in a tough spot to try its first game as it visits D.C. as six-point underdogs. It lost two close games in Weeks 1 and 3 but the Defenders, like Houston, are a perfect 3-0 ATS. The total here at 42 points is the highest of the week. The Roughnecks average 22.3 points and both of their games as favorites have gone over the total. The Vipers have a bad habit of allowing big plays in the fourth and allowed 15 points in their last two games per the XFL betting news.
