RLCS Spring Split Major Odds: Elite Teams Collide

The Ultimate Showdown of Skill, Strategy, and Speed!

The RLCS Spring Split Major is the final major tournament of the 12th edition of the RLCS esports season. This will be the last chance for fans to put in their bets for esports betting!

The massive, high-octane esports event starts next week on July 6th and continues to the 9th. The RLCS Spring Split Major will feature 16 teams from 6 regions: EU, NA, OCE, MENA, and Apac.

The world’s top Rocket League teams will play against each other for $310,000. On top of that, the final tournament of the RLCS Spring Split Major will draw RLCS Circuit Ranking Points for further qualification to the 2023 World Championship later in the year.

Moist Esports defeated Team Falcons in the grand final of the RLCS Spring Split Major in 2022 after they completed a bracket reset by winning two best-of-seven series (4-3 & 4-0). Version1 and Karmine Corp rounded out the top four. Will we see Moist Esports win it again?!

Here is everything you need to know about the RLCS Spring Split Major.

RLCS Spring Split Major Format

The RLCS Spring Split Major will play in a single round. Psyonix will combine teams into a single playoff schedule.

The championship is played with a Double-Elimination format. The first round and quarter-finals of the top draw are played to 3 wins (bo5), while the quarter-finals and final are played to 4 wins (bo7).

The three rounds of the lower net are played to 3 wins (bo5). The quarter-finals start with bo7 games.

The Grand Final of the RLCS Spring Split Major is played in a Bo7 format with Bracket Reset. This means that the team that makes it to the final from the bottom grid must win two rounds of Bo7 to win the tournament.

Participating Teams

Six regions and sixteen teams are competing at the RLCS Spring Split Major. The best of the best with the best Rocket League stats will converge in Boston to battle it out for the top prize and those elusive RLCS points.

Best Bets at the RLCS Spring Split Major

There is an obvious rite for the RLCS Spring Split Major, which is the team that completed the regional grand slam for the first time in EU/NA history. Team Vitality has looked unbeatable in Europe, only dropping one series to Karmine Corp in the entire split.

However, better bets are going into the RLCS Spring Split Major. That honor goes to Rule One, FURIA, and the Spring Invitational winner, Moist Esports.

FURIA Esports

Furia’s impressive victory in the Spring Invitational has, for the first time this Rocket League season, proved that they can still challenge the best teams in the world. Fans see them as NA’s best hope for the RLCS Spring Split Major, which is ironic with them all being from Brazil. While they are NA’s strongest team, they are considered a dark horse to win.

Moist Esports

Last year in London, we saw the miraculous lower bracket run of Moist Esports to win the RLCS Spring Split Major, and even though Joyo is now with two completely different teammates, there is still a sense of magic surrounding the Moist Esports name. The French powerhouse teams have overpowered Moist all year. However, this team will find its proper form and cause some heavy upsets.

Rule One

One of the most exciting teams making their RLCS debuts in Boston will be Rule One. After being so painfully close in the first two splits, they finally toppled the Falcons and earned their chance to play on the main stage.

With the Falcon’s gradual decline in form since their 2021 RLCS Spring Split Major Grand Final appearance, it will be exciting to see how a different Middle Eastern team stacks up against the international competition.
