Aberg Set for Stardom
Aberg is already a star in the making, but 2024 could be his coming out party.
The Swedish star won on the PGA Tour last year, and that followed on from his impressive DP World Tour victory.
He made waves when playing for Europe in the Ryder Cup, and he could have won twice on the Tour after losing in a five-man playoff.
We expect big things from the 24-year-old, who was playing college golf a matter of months ago. It has been a quick rise to fame, and it’s hard not to get caught up in it all.
During the break, he has been playing golf in the snow in Sweden. He’s committed to improving himself, and that’s what you want to see.
Golf statistics show he’s one of the best all-round players, and he recently turned down an LIV offer.
“I want to play against the best because I am a competitive person and like to compete against the best players,” Aberg said. “When I look at the PGA Tour and the competitions there, there is so much history around all the competitions. And that’s what I like, that’s what I go for. But then you have to respect everyone’s decisions.”

The experienced Australian got back to winning form, and although he wasn’t competing against the very best in the AT&T Byron Nelson, it’s still a good win.
It was his 13th PGA Tour victory, so he’s one of the best golfers in the field, despite what his +5200 odds suggest.
