Los Angeles Angels‘ outfielder Mike Trout had to cut short Monday night’s game against the San Diego Padres because of a debilitating wrist injury. Despite being widely regarded as a great baseball player, Trout’s long-time struggle with injuries reared its ugly head once again in the MLB injury report.
The incident happened during the eighth inning, when Trout fiercely swung at an 0-1 pitch from Nick Martinez. When he made contact, a painful tweak in his left wrist sent shockwaves through his body.
