WWE: Money In The Bank 2023
14th Annual MIB Promotion is London's First Major Event Since 2002

The 2023 Money In The Bank event will take place Saturday, at the O2 Arena in London, England. Wrestling has always been a major attraction in England, with MIB being no different after tickets were reportedly gone in less than an hour. This year’s competitors include Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, Damian Priest, and Logan Paul on the men’s side. Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Bayley, LYO Sky, and Trish Stratus in co-main events. We continue our 2023 Money In The Bank betting preview with an in-depth look at the men’s and women’s MITB in addition to one other match on the card that gives bettors some value.
Bloodline Civil War: The Usos vs Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
As we look over the entire 2023 Money In The Bank card, it’s easy to realize that outside the actual ladder matches, there isn’t much value with many of the high-priced favorites who will likely not lose because it’s not right for business at this point. The tag team match between the Usos and Roman Reigns / Solo Sikoa is at least within our bankrolls price range with Jimmy and Jey a -150 favorite.
This is the next installment in the ‘Blood Line’ storyline, which has arguably been one of the best in the history of the WWE. Many would call a Uso win an upset, but as you can see with the odds, bookmakers anticipate a Uso victory. We agree because a win would add some fuel to the fire of the potential of Jey going head-to-head with Reigns at Summerslam. Lay the -150 and take the Usos.
Trish Stratus +250 Could Be Surprise Winner
On the outside, it looks as if the year’s women’s MITB bank winner will likely be Iyo Sky (-150), but Trish Stratus is getting some love as the second choice at +250, followed by Becky Lynch at +330. Bayley was thought to be an early favorite but her number continues to grow (+700) along with Zelina Vegas (+700). Zoey Stark is the longest shot at +1400. The sky seems to be the right choice here. The 33-year-old has paid her dues since and before signing with WWE in 2018, after overcoming a neck injury in addition to a heart condition that pushed her NXT debut back a year.
Last January, at the 2023 Royal Rumble match, was the first time you felt like the WWE was pushing Sky as a singles competitor after winning WWE tag team gold twice with Dakota Kai. A win at MITH would and will move Sky further up the pecking order with a guaranteed title shot at any point within the next year with a win. Trish Stratus is worth a secondary wager, with reports out there that Triple H is planning a massive surprise that will dominate WWE news for some time.
It’s likely that the surprise could come in the form of Finn Balor (+275) could win the World Heavyweight title over Seth Rollins (-475). Just be aware that the Stratus number does look to be telling the public something considering Becky Lynch is a surprise third choice. We like Sky to win, but it should come down to her and Stratus. In the end, we can’t see Stratus making another run as a long-term champion with an interest in her numerous charities and young family. Let’s continue our 2023 Money In The Bank preview with a look at the men’s side.
LA Knight to Snatch Victory From the Hands Of Unemployment
We don’t know this for sure, but LA Knight revealed this week that he thought his career was as good as done in the WWE last year, but few details are known except to say the Triple H stepped in to save the 40-year-old who was on a fast track to become a full-time manager Max Dupri, because of his age. Fast forward to this year where it seems the WWE has never been behind Knight more, making Knight the favorite (-190) to win the MITB. Knight is a heel on camera but is arguably one of the most well-liked superstars on the roster. If 2023 isn’t the year, then when.
Damian Priest is the second choice at +320 followed by Shinsuke Nakamura (+900). Speaking of a potentially massive surprise, the WWE loves nothing more than to play at the home of the event. What if Butch, a former WWE UK champion and native of Birmingham, England is the big pop some expect. A wager on Butch would net you +2500 on a $100 wager. He is the biggest price on the card and worth a small wager although we think LA Knight will grab the briefcase in the end, but you never know. That does it for our Money In The Bank preview, we hope you enjoy the card this weekend.
