Uncover Exclusive Picks & Predictions From Our Experts.

That means this Thursday’s match at the Stadio Olimpico will be decisive and the winner will advance to the round of 16. Since Daniele De Rossi took charge of Roma, the Giallorossi have lost just once and they are in great form. Meanwhile, Feyenoord haven’t lost since December and will do everything in their power to preserve their unbeaten streak. Ahead of this second leg matchup, let’s check out the Roma vs Feyenoord UEL odds.

Head-to-Head Roma vs Feyenoord

Roma and Feyenoord have met in three straight seasons. In 2022, Roma won the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League final over Feyenoord, 1-0. Last season, these sides met in the Europa League Quarter-final and proceedings were tied 2-2 at the end of two legs. The Giallorossi scored twice in extra time to advance to the Semis.

Last Thursday, Feyenoord hosted Roma in the first leg of the Knockout Play-off at De Kuip. The hosts took the lead just before halftime as Quilindschy Hartman’s cross found Igor Paixão’s head. Roma’s Romelu Lukaku answered with a header of his own in the 67th minute and the match finished level at one. The pre-match Roma vs Feyenoord odds listed a draw at +255. Roma hold a 3-2-1 record vs Feyenoord all-time.

Roma Blow Frosinone Away

Daniele De Rossi made seven changes from the Europa League match vs Feyenoord when Roma went to Frosinone on Sunday. The Giallorossi proved to have depth as they outclassed the Serie A newcomers. Center back Dean Huijsen, on loan from Juventus, went on an adventurous first half solo run which finished in a wonder strike. Sardar Azmoun, who earned his first Serie A start under De Rossi, doubled Roma’s lead. While Frosinone did have 25 shots, most were relatively unthreatening and the Giallorossi got another insurance goal as Leandro Paredes converted a penalty.

Now, Roma are just four points outside of the top four. Last week, Lukaku scored his sixth goal in the UEL this season and he’s currently joint-leader in the Europa League stats. When he and Paulo Dybala are playing together, Roma are quite formidable. Although it was under Jose Mourinho, not Daniele De Rossi, this Roma side has been to two straight European finals. They take the Europa League seriously and the Stadio Olimpico should be rocking on Thursday.

Bettors should be aware that Roma have won each of their last eight home games on their Europa League schedule. Also, Roma midfielder Edoardo Bova is suspended for this match due to yellow card accumulation. Striker Tammy Abraham is also still recovering from an ACL injury but his return to action may be in the next few weeks.

Feyenoord Unbeaten in Last 11 Matches

After the draw vs Roma last week, Feyenoord took on RKC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie on Sunday. Feyenoord were not clinical enough and scored on just one of their 14 shots on target. Granted, Waalwijk made three ridiculous goal line clearances and Luka Ivanusec hit the crossbar. Still, Feyenoord played with a man advantage for most of the match and their winning goal came on a Mats Wieffer header off a corner.

Feyenoord’s last seven matches have now finished with two goals or fewer. Striker Santiago Gimenez picked up a calf injury a couple of weekends ago and he was able to come off the bench vs Roma last week. He started on Sunday and Feyenoord’s leading scorer this season should be able to make the XI vs Roma in the second leg. Gimenez led Feyenoord in the Champions League group stage, with two goals, and he’s also scored 19 times in the Eredivisie.

Arne Slot’s team has kept six clean sheets in their last seven matches and Timon Wellenreuther has been filling in admirably for the injured Justin Bijlow in goal. Along with Bijlow, Gernot Trauner should be out for this match. Feyenoord’s unbeaten streak has reached double digits and they’re going for 12 straight without a loss in this one.

Match Analysis & Odds

Few players have scored more Europa League goals than Romelu Lukaku. He’s the danger man for Roma and he’ll command significant attention from the Feyenoord backline on Thursday. The Roma vs Feyenoord UEL odds give Roma less than a 50 percent implied chance of 90-minute victory. Don’t be surprised if Roma (+110) and Feyenoord (+245) contest another close match.

Last season’s fixture went into extra time and there’s a +250 shot we get a repeat. Punters can also consider Roma pk, -0.5 at -120 odds and Feyenoord pk, +0.5 at -110. It won’t be easy for Roma to end Feyenoord’s 11 game unbeaten run but this is one of the toughest road games of the season for the Dutch club. Notably, Feyenoord did lose all three of their road matches in the Champions League group stage.

The Giallorossi have lost just once at home since September and that was vs Serie A’s top team, Inter Milan. Unsurprisingly, Roma are -175 favorites overall to qualify for the round of 16. If you’re thinking upset, Feyenoord to advance displays +145 odds. Just two of the previous six meetings between the sides have finished with more than two goals and both over and under 2.5 goals are priced at -115 odds.
