For the third time in the last three EL seasons, Feyenoord and Roma are meeting in the knockout stage of a European competition. This time around, the two sides face off in the Europa League Knockout round Play-off.

The match finished 2-0, which means Feyenoord remained five points ahead of Twente in second place in the Eredivisie.
With their nine-game unbeaten run, Feyenoord have been quite a decent pick for soccer betting lately. At 4-1-1, Roma finished in second place, behind Slavia Prague, in the Group G Europa league standings. Jose Mourinho led Roma to back-to-back European finals but this will be De Rossi’s first European match in charge.
Romelu Lukaku scored five goals in the group stage and he ranks second in the Europa League stats at the moment. Roma had a few players away at the Africa Cup of Nations previously but they now have a full roster, aside from the injured Tammy Abraham. When Paulo Dybala is healthy, Roma are a different animal and look for him to play a key role on Thursday.
