The one thing that is certain is that the winner of this match will win Group C and earn a bye to the round of 16. Should Sparta Prague lose to Aris Limassol on Thursday, both Real Betis and Rangers will advance to the knockout stage. Location: Estadio Benito Villamarín, Seville, Spain

Head-to-Head

Real Betis and Rangers met for the first time back in September. The Real Betis vs Rangers Europa odds listed hosts Rangers as +165 favorites. In a back-and-forth match Abdallah Sima scored the game’s only goal to hand Rangers a win.

Real Betis Give Real Madrid a Run for Their Money

Real Betis put in a solid performance vs Real Madrid over the weekend. Jude Bellingham gave Madrid the lead in the second half, as he so often has this season, but Betis pushed for an equalizer. In the 66th minute, Aitor Ruibal sent in a thunderous long range strike that sent the Estadio Benito Villamarin into a frenzy. The match finished 1-1 and Betis have been one of the better soccer picks today in La Liga.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis are unbeaten in their last 11 La Liga matches but are still only in seventh place, with a 6-8-2 record. A peek at the Real Betis Europa League standings shows they’re in first place in Group C. However, at 3-2, they’re just one point ahead of Rangers and two points ahead of Sparta Prague.

In their last Europa League match, Betis fell 1-0 at Sparta Prague when a win would have clinched the group. They have won their two home matches so far in the UEL, though. On Thursday, Guido Rodriguez is suspended for Betis. Meanwhile, it appears that Nabil Fekir, William Carvalho, Claudio Bravo, Youssouf Sabaly and Marc Bartra will all be out injured.

Rangers on Long Unbeaten Run

Rangers conceded within the first five minutes of Saturday’s match vs Dundee on a poorly defended corner kick. Goals from Cyriel Dessers, James Tavernier and Abdallah Sima meant that Rangers led 3-1 at halftime. However, Jose Cifuentes got sent off just before the break. With 10 men, Rangers were able to hold on to their lead and win their 12th match of the Scottish Premier League season.

Philippe Clement’s side have been solid for soccer betting this season and take on Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup final on Sunday. In the SPL so far, Rangers have outscored their opponents 33-8 and are in second place in the league. They’re also unbeaten in their last 13 Europa League matches, in all competitions, heading into this one. They haven’t conceded more than one goal in a match since October and have won their last three.

Young Senegalese striker Sima has been superb this season for Rangers. He’s their leading scorer in both the SPL and Europa League. Goalkeeper Jack Butland has played every minute in the SPL and the Europa League. Set piece specialist James Tavernier is another one to watch out for on Thursday. It appears that Steven Davis, Ryan Jack, Danilo Pereira and Thomas Lawrence will all miss out due to injury here for Rangers.

Match Analysis & Odds

While Real Betis will advance with a draw, only a win will 100 percent guarantee Rangers a spot in the knockout stage. Here, the Real Betis vs Rangers odds price hosts Betis as -130 ATS and moneyline favorites. Betis still haven’t lost at home this season in any competition, which includes draws vs Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Rangers +0.5 shows even odds, and they’ve qualified for the knockout stage in their last three Europa League appearances. The Glasgow side advanced to the final in 2021-22, where they lost in penalties to rangers. Rangers are +345 underdogs for this one and a draw is priced at +285 odds.

Over 2.5 goals are priced at -130 odds but just one of Betis’s last six matches have finished with three or more goals. Betis over 1.5 goals also shows -130 odds but they haven’t exactly been scoring in bunches lately.
