2023 F1 Driver Salaries: Find Out Who’s on the Podium… in Cash!
Also, There's Only One Spot Left for the 2024 F1 Line-Up

Line-Up for 2024
With just two more F1 races to go in the Formula 1 calendar, it’s time to assess the team lineups for the 2024 F1 season.
Despite numerous F1 rumors flying around, there’s currently only one seat available, and it’s at the Williams team.
Logan Sargent is the only driver who hasn’t had any updates about his future in Formula 1, but his performance throughout the year gives Williams a reason not to renew his contract.
And, on the other hand, the Perez-Alonso swap seemed like a reality, but official sources from Red Bull and Aston Martin debunked the news. For a moment, F1 enthusiasts dreamed of the battle between Verstappen and Alonso in equal machinery.
Here’s the lineup for the 2024 season:
Team | Driver | Driver |
---|---|---|
Red Bull | Max Verstappen | Sergio Perez |
Mercedes | Lewis Hamilton | George Russell |
Ferrari | Charles Leclerc | Carlos Sainz |
McLaren | Lando Norris | Oscar Piastri |
Aston Martin | Fernando Alonso | Lance Stroll |
Alpine | Esteban Ocon | Pierre Gasly |
Williams | Alex Albon | TBD |
AlphaTauri | Daniel Ricciardo | Yuki Tsunoda |
Alfa Romeo | Valtteri Bottas | Zhou Guanyu |
Haas | Nico Hulkenberg | Kevin Magnussen |
But since it’s the end of the Formula 1 season, fans want to continue seeing competition among these athletes, and if it’s not in an F1 car, we’ll seek that competition elsewhere… in their wallets!
Have you ever wondered how much F1 drivers earn? Well, here are the 2023 F1 Driver Salaries and net worth of the F1 drivers.
The Podium
Max Verstappen (1)
The Dutch star is renowned for his ambition and hunger to win in everything he does. Just as he leads the 2023 Formula 1 standings, Super Max is in the top spot for the highest-earning drivers.
For the 2023 season, Verstappen secured a $55 million contract. It’s no surprise that Red Bull wants to keep the three-time F1 champion behind the wheel, as he has been instrumental in making the Austrian team the F1 World Champions.
In addition to his assets and endorsements, Max Verstappen’s net worth is estimated at $90 million.
Lewis Hamilton (2)
Whether it’s his skill behind the wheel, his outfits at each Grand Prix, or his charismatic personality, Lewis is always in the spotlight.
Hamilton is the second-highest-earning driver when it comes to salary. He has a $35 million contract with Mercedes.
But with his seven world F1 championships, numerous appearances in advertisements, sponsors, and his ownership stake in the Denver Broncos, Lewis Hamilton’s net worth is estimated at $285 million. That’s a whole lotta greenbacks!
Only Fernando Alonso comes close to Lewis. Fernando Alonso’s net worth is valued at $260 million, but his F1 salary is considerably lower at $5 million.
Charles Leclerc (3)
The Monegasque driver takes the third spot on the podium of the 2023 F1 Driver Salaries. His contract with Ferrari is secured until the end of 2024, and it’s worth $24 million.
Charles Leclerc’s net worth is estimated at $40 million.
