Aberg Seeks First PGA Tour Win at 2023 World Wide Technology Golf

The PGA Tour Heads to Mexico

Some of the more promising golfers head to Mexico for the 2023 World Wide Technology golf, including Ludvig Aberg.

It’s only a matter of time before Aberg wins on the PGA Tour, and golf betting markets have him at +850 to win.

He’s the only golf player in single-figure odds for the tournament.

Swede Eyes Maiden Victory

Aberg burst onto the scene when winning the Omega European Masters in September, before being picked in the European Ryder Cup team.

The 24-year-old was thrust onto the big stage and he performed very well against the USA.

He took that form onto the PGA Tour, where he finished runner-up in a playoff at the Sanderson Farms Championship.

We were impressed with his play in the final round, which gave him a chance to win the tournament. He came up short to Luke List, but highlighted his talents.

His coach at Texas Tech, Greg Sands, believes he’s a unique talent.

“Ludvig is a once-in-a-generation kid,” Sands said. “Quite frankly I don’t know if I’ll ever have another kid like that again.

“He’s got a really unique presence to him. The only way I can describe it is almost like an Ernie Els, where he just seems to be unflappable and not show his emotions and stay in the present. He can open the door and say OK, here’s all the distractions, and then close that door and execute and go play golf.”

We think Aberg could win many PGA Tour golf tournaments, starting with the 2023 World Wide Technology golf event.

Theegala Capitalizing on Maiden Win

Much like Aberg, it was always a matter of time before Sahith Theegala won on the PGA Tour.

He won the 2023 Fortinet Championship when beating Seong-Hyeon Kim by two strokes, which was technically his second PGA win.

The American took out the QBE Shootout with partner Tom Hoge, but the Fortinet win was his first in a solo tournament.

Our expert picks PGA 2023 can’t leave out Theegala, who is on the third line of betting at +1400. It’s a value price for one of the form golfers in the tournament, and he always gives bettors a great sight.

Glover Loving 2023

Lucas Glover has had an incredible 2023, and it could continue at the 2023 World Wide Technology golf.

The 43-year-old is already a two-time winner this year, including the Wyndham Championship and FedEx St. Jude Championship in consecutive weeks.

The six-time PGA Tour winner is in a much better headspace personally, which has had a positive impact on the course.

Some critics made the case for him being selected in the Ryder Cup, and although he was left off the team, his experience would have been invaluable.

The year isn’t over for Glover, and we’re happy to include him in our picks. He is a +2500 chance to win, which is good shopping.

We rated him around +1600, so include him in your picks before the price shortens.
