Grayson Allen Stats For 2023-24: Will “G-Money” Level Up?
Guard Needs to Step Up as Milwaukee Transitions

The Milwaukee Bucks remain top NBA contenders despite a disastrous end to their 2023-24 season. The team has stayed mostly the same other than Adrian Griffin taking over for Mike Budenholzer as head coach. With Griffin, Grayson Allen should take a larger role as he is under scrutiny given his recent performances. How much will Grayson Allen stats be affected this season?
Grayson Allen’s NBA Career
Uneven Playoff Performances Put Allen on Hot Seat
Allen’s five playoff games in 2023 was a glimpse into the type of player he is. He started off hot and averaged 14 points while shooting 53.6% from the field (and a whopping 52.6% from 3!) But this was for naught as the Bucks won just one of its first three games. And in their final two games, Allen contributed to the team’s early elimination.
The Heat shut Allen down as he hit just four of his 13 field goal attempts. On top of that, he committed costly turnovers that all but overshadowed the good he did leading to this. As such, no Bucks player enters the 2023-24 season with more to prove than Allen.
Still, Allen is used to performing under pressure. The former Duke Blue Devil was constantly reviled in college for his physical play and underhanded tactics. In the NBA, he’s become more of a scorer and hard-nosed defender. But as it stands, he is the weakest in the Bucks’ starting lineup and may get sent to the bench if his NBA player stats don’t pick up.
Grayson Allen’s Player Profile & Stats
The Utah Jazz drafted Allen with the 21st pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He sparsely played in his rookie season then was traded to Memphis as part of the deal for Mike Conley. Grayson Allen stats came out in Memphis as he went from being a bench player to a starter. After two solid seasons, he was again traded.
This time, he signed an extension with Milwaukee and now enters his contract season.
Career Stats
Grayson Allen stats are decent if not underwhelming for a player who averages over 24 minutes a game. Allen may only be the fifth option on the Bucks, on paper, but he’ll need to be more aggressive and make more of an impact on the NBA game schedule if he is to secure another lucrative deal.

Bank on Allen To Have Career Season
Allen is not the type to have his confidence shaken. This is a tough player who makes up for his lack of athleticism by constantly honing his skills. He’ll take the coaching change as an inspiration to start fresh and improve. Thus, NBA predictions should have Allen as one of the most improved players for 2023-24.
