Heat vs Nuggets Player Props: Heat Do or Die, Up Against It, Now or Never

Bettors Siding With Heat Players Backs On the Wall

Butler, Bam, Among Those Bet to Go ‘Over’ Their Totals

The Denver Nuggets are heavily expected to beat the Miami Heat and win the NBA title for Game 5. The NBA odds favor Denver by 8.5 points. But if the Nuggets are to win, they will have to go through a desperate team. Miami will not back down. Based on the Heat vs Nuggets player props, expect Jimmy Butler and co. to leave everything on the court.

Count on “Himmy Butler” To Rally the Troops

For what feels like the longest time, “Himmy Butler” has not been present in the playoffs. While Jimmy Butler has played decent in these finals thus far, 21.8 points, 6.8 assists, and five rebounds, he’s not been dominant. As a result, the Heat are down 3-1. But folks betting online expect Butler to put up big NBA player stats this Game 5.

Butler is expected to go over his 39.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists total at -125. That is more than what he’s averaging in four games. This is considering they’re also betting him to score under 27.5 points (-125) and to hand out under 6.5 assists (-145).

But it’s not just Butler bettors are bullish on. Bam Adebayo, Kyle Lowry, and Caleb Martin are getting action.

Specifically, Adebayo is expected to have another big game. Miami’s star center is expected to get over 34.5 combined points, rebound, and assists (-120). He’s lined at -220 to record a double-double as he’s done in four of his last five games.

As for Lowry and Martin, they are expected to get more than 16.5 and 15.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists (both at -140). Lowry averages 10.5 points and five assists these finals. So the Heat vs Nuggets player props also have him going over 13.5 points and assists, combined, at -125.

Martin, on the other hand, has struggled to shoot the ball and is scoring just 6.8 points. But he’s adding 4.3 boards. Bettors still expect him to stay quiet on the scoring front with his total of 10.5 points bet to go under at -120.

Can Miami Win Even With Poor Long-Range Shooting?

But if Miami is going to win, it will have to find a way to do it whilst shooting poorly from 3-point range. The Heat have shot just 31.7% from the area in their last two games. So it’s no surprise to see bettors fading their 3-point player props on the NBA odds.

Lowry and Martin are expected to hit fewer than 1.5 3s (at -165 and -170, respectively). Even Kevin Love is expected to go under 1.5 3-point field goals at -140. Max Strus, however, is bet to hit over 1.5 3s (-125) as he tends to be a streaky player.

Miami can win despite shooting poorly. But it will have to lock down Jamal Murray and Denver’s main shooters. The team held Murray to just 15 points on 5-of-17 shooting in Game 4. But Miami failed to stop the likes of Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown who combined to score 48 points on 73% shooting.

Murray should score over 25.5 points (-120) as the Heat vs Nuggets player props read. But Gordon may not score more than 13.5 points (-120) while Brown’s total points are steady at 11.5 (-115).

As for Nikola Jokic, the runaway Finals MVP (-5000), his points-rebounds-assists combo is at 52.5. He could put up another triple-double (+115). Denver is 9-1 in the playoffs when he posts one and he should get more than four assists.

Denver has the momentum. But Miami can’t be counted out. Regardless of who wins, the Heat should be expected to fight tooth-and-nail for their NBA season.
