Speaking of the Storm, they are the only team Chicago has beaten in its last eight games. This team has run out of gas after a season mired by Wade’s departure and injuries. The Sky have battled but just consistently fall short.

The team even needed a 22-10 fourth-quarter comeback to take out the Storm on Sunday. Still, it does boost the team’s morale. It needs everything it can get as the Sky are anything but spectacular.

Los Angeles Lighting a Spark Heading to the Playoffs

The Sparks, on the other hand, are finding their groove just as the regular season is ending. This injury-laden team is starting to click and could be a dangerous underdog entering the playoffs. Los Angeles is 8-4 in its last 12 games and a beautiful 11-1 against the spread (ATS) during this span.

“In the beginning of the year we had a lot of adversity with people being injured,” guard Jordin Canada said. “But toward the end of the season, we’re really starting to find our flow and our chemistry and we’re connecting. We’re starting to click at the right time, which is super important when we’re fighting for a playoff position.”

The team’s only loss in recent games has come against Connecticut. That was a wake-up call for Los Angeles as this team still has a low ceiling and can’t underestimate anyone else.
