A’ja Wilson also had one of her worst WNBA stats lines at 2-of-14 shooting. With that memory still fresh in their minds, the Aces have to put on a better performance. Right?

“At the end of the day, I’m (going to) always shoot. I don’t care,” Wilson told reporters following the game. “I’m going to always shoot the basketball because my teammates need that from me. Do I live with this? Of course, I’m gonna live with this.”

The oddsmakers have New York favored by just 1.5 points and -125 on the ML with Vegas as slight +105 underdogs. The total sits at 173.5.

The defending WNBA champions remain a powerhouse even if they have had less-than-ideal performances. Las Vegas is just 6-4 in its last 10 games and just 4-6 ATS in this span. A lot of it is due to the absence of Candace Parker, the team’s fifth All-Star, who also shared ballhandling responsibilities.
