CFB Pac-12: (11) Oregon State vs Arizona Football Odds

Two Solid Teams Square Off in Key Match-Up

The Oregon State Beavers (6-1 / 3-1) will take their betting juggernaut to Tuscon, Arizona when they take on the Arizona Wildcats (4-3 / 2-2). The Beavers easily covered a 3.5-point spread against UCLA last week (36-24) giving them their eighth cover in their previous 10 games, and six of seven this year.

The Wildcats are right behind OSU with a 7-3 ATS mark over their last 10 after handling Washington State last time out. NCAA Football odds show Oregon State as a 3-point road favorite with a total of 57.5.

Kick-off is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT and can be seen on ESPN. Let’s begin our Oregon State vs Arizona football odds preview, starting with the Beavers.

Beavers Running Game Leads The Way

The Beavers can’t stop now. With an upcoming NCAA Football schedule that features both Washington and Oregon, this smells like a potential letdown spot. However, with one of the conference’s best running games and knowing that Arizona lost two games to USC and Washington by a combined nine points, we think Jonathan Smith’s team will be focused on the task at hand.

The Beavers have their highest ranking since 2012 because they feature a running game that gains over 195 yards per game. Damien Martinez is 19th in the nation, averaging 96.6 yards per game. We think you’ll see Oregon State have success running between the tackles on a consistent basis.

OSU is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a favorite against FBS teams and 4-2 ATS as a favorite against teams that are .500 or better. The Beavers have been consistent against the number head-to-head, covering four of six games. We continue our Oregon State vs Arizona Football odds preview by switching our focus to the Cats.

Wildcats Are Facing A different Beast

After facing Washington State, USC, and Washington, we know Arizona can handle a high-powered quarterback enough to stay in high-scoring games. The question is, can they stop a team that is more than willing to run it up the gut 30 times a game? This will be the fourth straight week that Arizona will face a ranked team, but that hasn’t fazed Jedd Fisch’s team after managing to find a win just once but covering all three.

There has been some talk about who who start behind center for Arizona after Jayden de Laura suffered an ankle injury the last week of September against Stanford. It looks like Fisch is sticking with freshman Noah Fifita this week. The ‘cats are having a resurgent for bettors after a 15-23 ATS mark heading into the year since 2019.

As a dog, Arizona was 14-18 ATS in that span but has turned it around to cover all four games to begin 2023. We conclude our Oregon State vs Arizona football odds preview with our official selection.

Pac-12 Will Start To Separate

If you look at the Pac-12 NCAA Football standings, there are five teams that are within a game of the undefeated Washington Huskies who have won all four conference games this season. We don’t anticipate the top and the bottom to start separating and this match-up will help that claim. The Beavers averaged 8.8 yards per attempt (23rd in the nation) on the ground while Arizona has allowed 7.9 yards per rush (107th).

We anticipate Arizona hanging in for a half until they get too much of Martinez who will have a massive fourth quarter against a worn-down Arizona defense line. Take Oregon State and lay the points. That does it for our Oregon State vs Arizona football odds preview, all the bets with your wagers this weekend.
