It’s a great boxing card in Saudi Arabia on Friday, including two premier heavyweight fights.
Joshua vs Ngannou boxing fight odds have Anthony Joshua favored at -450 to beat former MMA star Francis Ngannou.
There is also Joseph Parker vs Zhang Zhilei and Rey Vargas vs Nick Ball, so there is a lot for boxing bettors to enjoy.
Class Prevails with Joshua
Joshua has been one of the best heavyweights of the modern generation, and although disappointing at times, he never scares away from a tough fight.
The British fighter is the worthy favorite with boxing odds to beat Ngannou, who has had only one professional fight.
The Cameroon-French national lost to heavyweight champion Tyson Fury by split decision. It was one of the weirdest fights and, ultimately, decisions, which cost Ngannou the dream start to his boxing career.
The 37-year-old had the better of Fury for most of the fight, but a non-boxer beating a Fury just doesn’t happen in the squeaky-clean world of boxing.
Despite his efforts on that occasion, we don’t think he has the skill to beat Joshua, who is a more cautious fighter than Fury. Francis Ngannou could get frustrated, so we’re backing Joshua to win.

Title Contenders Clash
We have no doubt the winner of Parker vs Zhang will get a title shot in 2024, which makes it an important fight.
The boxing schedule has been busy for both fighters, and there is a sense of excitement in the boxing world.
Zhang is a Chinese man on a mission after knocking out Joe Joyce twice, like the Brit hadn’t even boxed before.
Packing a lot of power at 21-1-1, Zhang is coming for Parker, who always fights a more conservative style.
Parker, the much younger fighter at 32 compared to Zhang at 40, comes off a stunning win over Deontay Wilder, who never looked likely.
We’re not sure what was happening with Wilder, but Parker made him look second rate. It was the Kiwis best career win, and the +200 underdog is good enough to avoid a Zhang right hand and win on rounds.
The latest boxing news is that he’s had a great camp, and this is their last chance of a title shot for both fighters.

Vargas to Bounce Back
We can’t believe some of the prices with Joshua vs Ngannou boxing fight odds, in particular between Rey Vargas and Nick Ball.
Ball is a rising star in the sport at 19-0, but Vargas has been there and done that, so we’re picking the Mexican to retain his WBC Featherweight title.
He might have lost his most recent fight to O’Shaquie Foster, he looked much better prior to that when beating Mark Magsayo and Tomoki Kameda.
It’s rare to see a champion priced at +145, and we don’t rate Ball on the same level at this stage of his career.
The Brit 27-year-old comes off a win over Isaac Dogboe, which was a tidy performance. However, Dogboe isn’t on the same level as Vargas.
We worry for the British fighter, who is overrated with boxing betting markets at -175. Take the value odds with Vargas.
Chamberlain/Huni Headline Undercard
Mark Chamberlain is a -280 favorite to beat Gavin Gwynne, and he should be too good for this rival.
Chamberlain is 14-0 and rising the lightweight ranks after beating Artjoms Ramlavs in the 10th round last year.
Gwynne already has two losses on his record, and we can’t see him doing enough to win on the undercard.
We also like Justis Huni to dispatch Kevin Lerena without much problem. Huni is 8-0, and although most of his fights have been against low-level opposition, he has looked good.
Lerena has the experience edge, but when he faced a tough opponent in Daniel Dubois, he was TKO’d in the third round.
Huni isn’t as good as Dubois, but he’s heading in the right direction, so take the -400 odds for the Australian.
