Tour de France 2023 – Favorites and Winners Odds Part 3

Check Out the Final Action-Packed Stages!

Part 3! We’re jumping back into the thick of it with the final action-packed stages of this year’s Tour de France 2023 to profile the likely winners per stage and for the event. At the end, we will be taking a look at the 2023 Tour de France betting odds for the winner in an up-to-par Betting Preview.

Below is the lowdown on the final days of a mind-blasting event!

Stage 16:

Passy – Combloux (July 18th, 22.4 km)

Buckle up for a lightning-fast uphill battle at the Côte de Domancy. If you don’t know it, it’s also called the Route Bernard Hinault. This is where “the Badger” bagged the world title back in 1980. Get set for an uphill showdown!

Stage 17:

Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc – Courchevel (July 19th, 166 km)

This one’s a monster! The 28 km Col de la Loze, a spine-chilling climb, ends with a killer final 6 km at a massive 24% slope. We’re expecting a tough fight to the finish after that. Keep an eye out for the mountain warriors like Pello Bilbao, and let’s not forget the mighty Vingegaard and Pogacar, who have both rocked the mountain stages before.

Stage 18:

Moûtiers – Bourg-en-Bresse (July 20th, 185 km)

After surviving the Alps, the riders face a super-long 185 km stage that could lead to a thrilling sprint finish. This one’s for the sprinters who have been toughing it out in the mountains. Look out for Jasper Philipsen, the Belgian flash who lit up the Tour last year. If Philipsen and his mate Van der Poel are still in top form, we might see fireworks at the finish line.

Stage 19:

Moirans-en-Montagne – Poligny (July 21st, 173 km)

Here’s a sprinter-friendly stage with a sneaky twist. There’s a sharp climb just 26 km from the end that could mess up the sprinters’ plans. Don’t write off the old pros like Mads Pedersen. He could snatch a win from under everyone’s noses.

Stage 20:

Belfort – Le Markstein Fellering (July 22nd, 133.5 km race)

As we near the final mountain stage, all eyes are on a decisive face-off between top dogs Pogacar and Vingegaard. Every cycling fan is waiting for this!

Stage 21:

Saint Quentin en Yvelines – Paris Champs Élysées (July 23rd, 115 km)

This is it, the grand finale! We’re saying goodbye to the famous Champs Élysées finish for a few years, closing the curtain on this year’s Tour. With the Olympics coming up, next year’s finish line will be in Nice. That’s the first time the Tour is ending outside Paris since 1905.
