Lewis vs Nascimento Odds Favor the Black Beast
Lewis Hunts For 15th Knockout Win as the Favorite

Lewis vs Nascimento odds are out and as of Tuesday, Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis is a -172 favorite to win over his main event opponent Rodrigo “Ze’ Colmeia” Nascimento, whose odds to win are +134. This gives Lewis the implied win probability of 63.2%.
As his moniker alludes, Lewis is a monster in the octagon. He holds the record for career knockouts in the UFC with 14 and has a career record of 27-12-0. He is a heavyweight in every sense of the word. Lewis is a powerful striker who has one-hit knockout abilities in every fight he is in. However, he is limited in his ability to prevent takedowns and has struggled with his stamina.
These weaknesses will be key for Rodrigo Nascimento to key in on if he is going to have a shot to avoid another one of Lewis’ knockout punches.
Nascimento is a less established heavyweight fighter than Lewis but has been fighting well lately. He is a well-rounded grappler and striker but has what some consider a questionable chin. Because of this, oddsmakers believe Lewis is a tough matchup, and the fight will end in under two rounds.
The current odds have this fight ending under the line of 1.5 rounds. The under is currently -148 while the over is set at +116. The odds to go under 2.5 rounds is -375 and to go over is +250. The shortest odds by winner and round is for Derrick Lewis to win in round one, odds being +220. The odds of this fight going the distance is +650 with the odds of it ending before the decision being -1200.
We are going to look at this UFC roster, current Lewis vs Nascimento odds, and the UFC schedule and see if we can make any smart bets with the odds at our disposal.

Derrick Lewis has knocked a lot of people out. He currently is ranked 12th in the Heavyweight Division and could look at the top ten with a win on Saturday. Unfortunately for Lewis, things have not been going great for the veteran fighter.
Since losing his shot at the UFC interim heavyweight championship in August of 2021, he has gone 2-4, including a three-fight losing streak. That being said, with Nascimento’s history of having a weak jaw, the chances of Lewis getting an early knockout are high.

Nascimento has youth and confidence on his side. Currently, he is fighting in his best form having only lost one fight since getting into the UFC after Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019. He is on a three-fight winning streak and will look to extend that Saturday during the Main Event.
The Rest of the Main Card
The rest of the Main Card has more great fights as well. The first is Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs Robelis Despaigne. Cortes is a +168 underdog to Despaigne’s -220. The over/under rounds are set at 1.5 with +172 for the over and -220 for the under.
Next is a featherweight bout between Alex Caceres vs Sean Woodson. Caceres is the underdog with +164 odds and Woodson is the favorite at -215. The fight is heavily favored to exceed 2.5 rounds at -280.
Then we have Diego Ferreira vs Mateusz Rebeck. This lightweight fight has Ferreira at +285 and Rebeck at -400 to win. The odds are in favor of this fight going under 2.5 rounds (-180).
Things get heavier with the Alonzo Menifield vs Carlos Ulberg light heavyweight bout. Ulberg is the -290 favorite and Menifield is +215 to win. The over/under leans to the over at -148.
After that, we have the co-main event, Joaquin Buckley vs Nursulton Ruziboev. Buckley is another knockout artist, and a -150 favorite to beat Ruziboev. Ruziboev will need to grapple his way to a win, controlling the fight through takedowns and ground game. Ruziboev is a +119 to win. The over/under on rounds is set at 1.5 with the over being -142 and under being +112.
